Madagascar Minerals Labradorite Heart - Large

December 22, 2019 update: In the months between the original review and now, I've purchased nearly $1,000 worth of Labradorite Hearts, large and small, which originate with GemDecor through Amazon. In excess of 70 total, probably closer to 80+ but I stopped keeping track of who all I gifted them to. I still love them as much as ever and can pretty much still guarantee you will too. It should be noted...no two hearts are the same in display. They are natural, nature produced stones. When cut and polished, they each have their own personality in every respect. :-} I often call them my children and speak of them as if they are more than stone crystals.March 18, 2018: When I began studying about and collecting healing crystals three years ago, Labradorite was my first favorite. I connected deeply with its character and everything about it charmed me. I dove in head first. In that initial bloom of love, I bought a batch of untumbled pieces from Amazon. There were 47 chunks 1 1/2 to 3 inches in all directions. Since then I'm fascinated by mountains and try to imagine what amazing mysteries lie inside. If interested you might want to check out the documentary Touching the Void about Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes. Those mountains, in the season without snow, look exactly like those first chunk, untumbled "Lab" pieces from Amazon. Craggy and gray and mysterious. And even on chunks you can find flash.I've ordered crystals from Amazon many times and have always been happy. This heart is nothing short of gorgeous. If I could figure out how, I'd take a picture and attach it. Dimensions in inches: 2 x 2 1/2 high and wide, 1 deep. So much flash, shades of blue and gold. I love it. It is well worth its price. (Well, I did take photos and it's quite photogenic, but I haven't a clue how to show it to you.) But if you take a chance on this I can almost guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Update: The review below this one was the review for the first one I ordered (left side in both pictures), which I also gave 5 stars too originally. It was literally BEAUTIFUL, all the colors of the rainbow (so to speak) as the majority of Labradorite "anything" is - the same colors in the front as the back (both sides shown in the 2 different pictures), simply stunning, I was very drawn to it. Unfortunately it had fallen on a very hard surface and chipped and when I ordered a new one I couldn't be more disappointed with it (heart on the right in both pictures). It looks nothing like my old one or like the product description pictures, or the choice pictures the seller sent to me to choose from. What I received this time was a heart that is literally a very dull blue/gray on both sides (the shimmer on it is a reflection of my old stone), not at all the type of Labradorite I would ever order or want, or ever seen. The pictures I was shown had the original multi-color stone as my first one on one side, more blue/gray on the other side, which I found odd, as the same stone should have the same color on both sides? However, that one being my only choice for the actual color Labradorite usually is (the norm), I chose that one. It's not what I received, I received a dull blue/gray colored heart that "only" shows any sign of other colors if you hold it under a light and move it around - not at all what I expected, not what I thought I was purchasing and not at all something I like. Due to the minor if at all shimmers under light I'm pretty sure it's got Labradorite in it; however, it looks far more like Kyanite in color, which is very disappointing and off from the colors one would expect to see in Labradorite, and it doesn't have the same vibration. It's literally a full blue/gray color with some black lines, nothing more unless you lift it up and hold it under a light - so if you want it to sit on a table near you - you're seeing a blue stone, not a Labradorite colored stone. I'm leaving my original review beneath this one, because I do think the seller is genuine and I do think that if the "norm" Labradorite stone is used, as my first one was, it is truly a beautiful piece and very well made - but I wouldn't recommend buying what they're selling now. They told me I could return it, but no mention or offer to send me a true Labradorite heart as the first one I purchased from them - I'm very disappointed and heartbroken - my original can't be held in my hand anymore due to the chip and the connection between the stone and I was deep.Original Review from my first order:BEAUTIFUL and AMAZING. Absolutely gorgeous!! This company outdoes itself with quality. I've buying one after another. I'm so addicted... I have yet to buy from a company on Amazon that has as beautiful of stone hearts as this one. I will continue to buy from them. I've purchased 7 different stone hearts so far from them. Look forward to my next one...

I love this heart-shaped Labradorite so much! I am using it for Tarot reading and it is replacing a beloved Lapis pyramid that broke! It has a strong energy right out of the carefully packed box. I burned a little Chamomile and Mugwort to help me ground at first but it is easier to do so now that I have used it a couple of times! My readings have been insightful and clear! All in all, a perfect buy! I plan to use this store for my future crystal needs!!

Highly recommend this! I received such a beautiful labradorite heart! It has such gorgeous flashes of blue, green and gold! It gives off the best energy! Can’t beat the price.

Big, heavy and my son loved it

It did not look like the pic on Amazon. It was a darker color. I was hoping it would look more of the turquoise colors. It is a darker blue with some gray color. I do like the shape of it as a heart though.
