I have an 02 Tj X with a factory hard top. Will i need a windshield channel to install this? What about the door surrounds and/or a tailgate bar?

If you owned a soft top previously and this top is replacing the old worn out top, then you can switch everything over to the new top. If you never had a top prior to this one, then you will need to purchase everything separately. Some other tops include them, the windshield channel and tail gate bar, but you will have to purchase the door surrounds separately anyways. Bestop 52600-01 Tailgate Bar Kit for 97-06 Wrangler TJ for $51 and the Bestop 55014-01 Black Windshield Channel for TJ Factory Style for $67. I hope this helps.

For those of you still using this top, how long have you had it, and are you still satisfied with it?

Have had the top on since March 2015 and is holding up really well. No tears, seams all still fine, did have one zipper helper break but the zipper is still OK. Very satisfied with the top.

Can this replace my hard top?

No. You need the soft top hardware as well. Also keep in mind you should use the hard top in the winter if you live in a place where you get winters.

Will this fit 2003 wrangler sport? (selection process says yes, but "check fit" heading on amazon page says will not fit...?
