Great quality, I use it to connect my MacBook Air to three screens with one connection. Works perfect.

This dock station works great with both my Dell and Macbook! The Dell automatically recognized the dock and all attached accessories; the Macbook just required a simple driver install to recognize the attached monitor.

Avoid this docking station. I’ve bought it twice now, and both units had the exact same issue: the video inputs are completely unreliable. They’ll stop working out of nowhere, spontaneously start back up, and then fail again just as quickly. I thought my first one was just a lemon, so I gave it another shot—big mistake. Save yourself the headache and find a different brand. This one isn't worth it.

Good, but image on product lists incorrect information. It says the network port is 2.5Gbps, it is only a standard 1Gbps (10/100/1000) speed network port. So beware. I needed that, but fortunately I had a usb to 2.5Gps network widget so was able to work around it. On my M2 MacBook Air I have two 4k monitors attached now at full 4k resolution. One @ 165Mhz refresh over DisplayPort, and the other via HDMI @ 60Mhz. Any lag there might be is pretty negligible and probably more due to my Air trying to push two 4k displays at high refresh. I’ll try it at some less aggressive settings and it should be snappier. I haven’t gotten my audio speakers to work yet, but that is probably me.

Working perfectly with 3 displays and switching between an M2 MacBook Pro and desktop Windows NUC, just moving the cable.

I'm using this on a 2017 Macbook Pro running the latest macOS Monterey. The monitors are all plugged into the HDMI ports while I only need to utilize 1 thunder bolt port. It does the charging as well. There was 1 extra step where I had to download the latest driver for it to work but it was great after that. For anyone running an Intel based Macbook that wants to utilize 3 monitors, I would recommend this port.

I like the fact that outputs 1 and 2 can be either HDMI or DisplayPort. Output 3 is HDMI only; however only Output 3 would work without installing the USB drivers. Currently using 3 MSI G24C gaming monitors for my Dell Latitude 5500 laptop. Works as expected with drivers installed. Drivers require admin privileges.

Was looking for a USBC dock that could output dual 1440p, and this works great! The power button is a plus as well as all the usb ports. It is expensive but works great. As an added plus the usbc cable is removable resulting in a clean desk when not in use! Would definitely recommend this dock

I’ve had a disappointing experience with StarTech 116N-USBC-DOCK. After just about a year of use, one of the DisplayPort outputs stopped working. Considering this product comes with a 3-year warranty, I expected better reliability and support. Unfortunately, customer service hasn’t been very helpful. While they did offer an RMA, I’m required to send back the faulty unit first before they ship a replacement. This leaves me without a working device in the meantime, which is quite inconvenient. For a product that cost around $300, I expected better durability and a smoother warranty process. Based on this experience, I’m hesitant to trust this brand for future purchases.

Bought this to replace an older StarTech dock. I was up and running in less than a minute on Win11.

Great little hub from a decent reputable company. Not quite 5 stars, only because I have occasional glitches with one of my connected monitors. To be fair, I have a similar issue at work with a higher level brand. The screen will occasionally flicker or completely fail to turn on. A simple connect/reconnect of the monitor cable brings it back online. For the rest, all the ports work great, the USB speeds are great, and it's been a reliable hub after 3-4 months of almost daily use. The included power supply is a great perk too; it works very well and lets me keep my laptop power supply in my travel bag.
