Great paddle. I've ordered 4 of these over the last year or so and put a custom finish on them for friends. Wood is pine and stains well. It's a bit softer than I would like as far as woodworking but that does make it a little easier to put finishing touches on. I drill out air holes and round the edges with a router, sand smooth and apply a stain + couple coats of clear poly. I can wood burn words into the design as needed.The end result is a fairly stunning work of art that's also very functional as a paddle. The pine also makes for a very light swing, especially with the air holes so this is definitely more sting than thud.

Great product! Was much larger than I though it was but great for the size it was. Easy to paint on and very durable. Great for any frats or sororities needing paddles!

I got this for my big’s 21 paddle. One of the better prices I could find! Worked great and looked wonderful. Definitely don’t need to buy super duper expensive ones if you just need something to get the job done! Would definitely recommend.

I really like this paddle! It is the correct size ( Big ) and looks very sturdy it even comes with a strap already.

This was great for making a paddle for my big. It was a little bigger than I thought, which work out perfectly. The painted on colors held true to color and was well sanded down to begin with.

I love this product (Darice 98823 Unfinished Wood Paddle, 23-7/8-Inch). I bought this as a decoration for my wall and could not be happier. The wood quality is superb. I could easily make modifications to the product and the hole that is drilled in made it super easy to hang to my wall. The wood is strong and will not break if put under stress. Overall a great product.

The paddle was wonderful for my big! Came in exactly as described and in time. The only complain I have was that there was a large circle in the middle of the paddle that was still wood, so I can't complain too much, but the type of wood was difficult to paint over compared to the rest of the paddle. I had to make the side with the circle of different wood the back of the paddle instead of the front. The paddle also comes with a string attached at the top so it could be hung easily. I like it, but it was also difficult to paint around.

I didn't realize this was for decorative use and not for any real application. I imagine I can sand the edges down on the flat side to make it work for me, otherwise it will dig into my palms. The size is good though, and once tweaked the handle will fit well in two hands.Either way the wood is nice and solid, though definitely for crafting lol

Amazing product for the price. Comfy to hold and has a great weight to it. I am told this thing hurts like heck. I am ok with that.No flaws or knots found.Looked great after a good sand/stain/seal.

Just the job gives a good spanking, makes you know your buttocks have been spanked.
