Fossil Men's Decker Quartz Stainless Steel Chronograph Watch

I bought this watch because I needed something that was "fancy" enough for work, yet casual enough for everyday wear.This watch is a little on the heavy side, but that's what you get when you buy a metal watch, and not a plastic Casio watch. The face is large, but it's more of a medium sized watch when you compare it to what some of the styles/fashions are today. Some celebrity watches come to mind (Lebron James' watch for example) - that have a HUGE face to it. This watch isn't THAT large, but it's big enough. The case is the only thing that annoy's me - it's a little thick. As in it sticks off your wrist a bit - but you get used to it.The strap is great too - I believe it's called "resin." Basically it looks like rubber, except it's meant to crack less than rubber.All in all, the watch looks great, keeps great time, the functions on it are useful - I have bought 3 Fossil watches & 1 citizens watch, looking for a watch like this...go with this one! The only thing this watch does not have is Eco Drive (look it up if you don't know what it is).UPDATE: 1/11/2013I still like this watch & it's held up really well. I'm not a regular watch wearer, so that helped keep it look new. I'm still not used to the size & I wish I spent an extra $80 for the Citizen's Eco Drive watch that's similar. The watch band is also a big factor in not wearing the watch as much. I wear it more in the winter now - it is not a breathable band & my long sleeve shirts & jackets get stuck on the watch band when I pull them from my forearm down. I'm still overall happy with the watch, but I'm also fairly picky when it comes to all facets of my watches.

Pros: Well designed, weighted well, working chronograph, price to value.Cons: Not black, in reasonably bright lighting.This is a very nice watch. I am a Fossil fan. My last Fossil held out for 5 tough years. It still works, but the mechanism for the second hand has been damaged. I plan on buying another like it (Twist, ME1019). My Decker has a nice weight, feel, & design. It looks like a much more expensive piece. The machine work & polishing, crystal, & overall finish is flawless. I began receiving complements & "where did you buy inquiries" immediately.My only "complaint", the face & band are not truly black, they are a very, very dark charcoal gray. I would have liked a leather band initially. However, the band is soap & water washable & seems to be very durable. Looks like leather, but will not get the odor over time from sweating. The stitching is also gray & not white.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase & would buy again. I could have bought a more "expensive" watch, but Fossil has given me great bang for my bucks.

I had this watch for a few years before it got stolen, i loved it so much i went and bought the exact same one again. No complaints, great casual/active wear watch! Feels substantial and also looks great! I cant say much about the water resistance of this watch like other reviewers have - but that's because i would never take a chance of wearing any of my watches in the water anyway. I assume all my watches are NOT water resistant even if they actually are. A small downside of having a silicone band is that its not breathable, so on a hot day - it might get a little uncomfortable if you have the watch snug around your wrist.

Everything is nice but the strap is quite light.

Everything went perfectly. The delivery was right as scheduled. The watch in perfect condition as described.

Received broken. Had to fly out of Australia the same day and didn't check. It was a gift for my dad and i am super disappointed. Obviously can't take it back to Australia to return it otherwise would have definitely returned it.

Great watch. Have received multiple compliments on it. I was worried about the silicon strap not looking nice but it actually looks great and feels good on my wrist. The contrasting stitching doesn't stand out as much as in the photos and I like that. It's more subtle. I have always liked Fossil watches and this one does not disappoint as my everyday watch. The chronograph is cool but I actually never use it.
