One Degree Cereal Ancient Maize Flake, 12 oz

The One Degree Organic Food cereals and other products were developed by my neighbor who gave me samples to try months ago. I waited to find them to buy on line and finally Vitacost was selling an assortment. I bought six boxes of cereals and love all of the different kinds. I will continue to get these forever. No other cereals on the market compare in healthfulness or taste to these.

Delicious cereal, full flavored, not excessively sugary and healthy to eat. Easy to mix with berries, almond milk, or topped with yogurt. Also can be used in recipes where other corn-based cereals or flakes (e.g., crushed) might have been used in the past.

The Maize gets too mushy too fast. Like their other products better

Gluten free cereal choices are becoming more varied but the cereals I loved most when I could still have gluten I still miss. This cereal reminds me of Wheaties. I really liked that cereal and of course can't have it anymore. The taste and texture are very similar. I'd love to say I eat this because it is super healthy. The main reason though is I am excited to find a gluten free cereal that seems like a great replacement for the wheat cereal I can't have. And it does not feel like I give anything up. This is a terrific cereal!

I was excited about this cereal. although i dont typically spend this much on cold cereal, i was surpised that it only had 19 grams of carbs and 5 grams of fiber, in addition to being low fat and having moderate protein. this was a great tasting cereal with unsweetend almond milk!
