GREAT PRODUCT FROM A NATION OF BIKE RIDERS
These have large curved hooks made to fit over handlebars. I got two baskets and hung them in back off of the left and right side of the rack I installed (upon which is bolted another larger folding basket). There are two short, wide plastic tubes included to cover the hooks. Put a few drops of lubricant (oil, petroleum jelly, whatever works for you) into each tube so they slide easily over the metal hooks. If you're hanging them to the sides of your rear bike rack use three or four zip ties to fasten the basket(s) firmly to the side of the rack to prevent it from swinging out.

Carries a lot and folds neatly out of the way.
these rack work very well on the back of my sister's bike. When folded, they stay folded. When open, it holds a grocery bag perfectly. Someone else must have really liked them, because her bike was stolen the day before Xmas. Got her a used bike and buying another pair of baskets for a late Xmas surprise.

The design is great but you need to do some modification...
The design of the product is great. However, you need to do some additional work for these baskets to function well:Pros:1. It easily hangs on the side of bike like a pannier and can be folded when not in use. It's much cheaper than good panniers at a similar carrying capacity. It is also fixed on the bike so won't be easily stolen.2. It fits the standard paper shopping bag or reusable bag of the same size perfectly. So you can simply drop the shopping bags into the basket and go. No need to repack the grocery or use bungee chords to fix the bags onto the bike.3. They keep the center of gravity low. You can easily transport a lot of grocery without making the bike unwieldy.4. If you have a rear child seat, two baskets below the seat serve perfectly as spoke guards. Even if the child kicks around, you don't need to worry about its feet getting caught in the wheel. The basket is also wide enough to protect the child from tipping over.Cons:1. I got a sharp tip on one of the welding sites. The sharp tip can be easily removed by a plier. But the producer should do this rather than leaving it to the customer.2. The basket just hang on the bike, not fixed. It jumps around when you ride the bike. I put some rubber tape between the basket and the bike, then use some plastic zip ties to fix the basket in place.3. The spring is not tight so that the basket does not fully open. You need to rely on the grocery to push the basket to the fully open state, otherwise it again rattles. I ended up fixing them in the open configuration with zip ties because I mainly use that bike to haul groceries and kids.

Clever low drag alternative to panniers
I've been using rear bag panniers for years on my Dutch bike and have not enjoyed the drag they impart in my windy coastal town. Having switched to these folding baskets I can feel the ease in my ride as the headwinds pass smoothly through the folded baskets. Beware the spring loading on these baskets-they will whack your fingers hard and painfully if you just release the hook mindlessly, so I open them slowly holding onto the sides to prevent that. Each basket holds a full grocery bag, easily 10-20 lb weight capacity each. I've banged the open basket into various objects and so far they have retained their shape. As well, I like the look of the black folded baskets on the bike, it looks higher tech and cleaner than hanging bags. Great value for the price.Edit 2/23: still working well, no issues 11 months of use. Warning! These are like huge mouse traps and will open faster than you can react causing a painful finger whack! Always open mindfully, slowly. Highly recommend!

Like the basket but screws and nuts seem defective
Used the basket once or twice and the screws and nuts holding the basket down onto your rack already fell off from being too loose. I had tightened them before use and didnโt expect to have to retighten them after each bike ride. I like the basket and it seems sturdy but the faulty screws and nuts make it really hard to use because now Iโm concerned the basket could fly right off the bike. I contacted the company to see if theyโd send me a new set of screws and nuts since it clearly seems like it should be meant to last more than two rides. They said no, tough luck to you, we wonโt send you anything. Wasnโt very helpful. So Iโll have to find my own screws and nuts at a local store even after spending full price on this basket set. Beware to tighten the nut and screws often.

Great as a rear side rack
This works great as a rear side basket. I attached to my bikeโs rear rack by hooking it over and using zip ties plus some pieces of rubber to keep it from scratching against the rack.I love how itโs big enough to fit my backpack, but folds down flat when not in use.My only challenge is I received two in a row that had been bent during shipping, but Amazonโs return process handled it smoothly.

Easy to Install and Love the Folding Mechanism
Very easy to install. I'm using it as a rear basket hooked on to my rear rack. This rack did not fit my handlebars to make it a front basket but that was not my intent. The plastic coverings on the hooks ensure that the basket does not scratch your bike or rear rack depending on where you install the basket. The folding mechanism is great! It's super easy to fold when not in use and easy to pop back open when you need to use haul things on your bike. The basket fits my backpack with plenty of space for extra items.

Works well for what I need it for, but has a few quirks
Itโs a pretty simple basket to use. Not easy to set up because the plastic rubber sleeves are extremely hard to get on the hooks and the screws that secure the hooks to the handle bars come loose easy. I lost the first screw the first week and the second screw the second week. But itโs fine because I take the basket off every other time I use it. Would be better if there was some sort of a latch to secure it or maybe a better design. Besides that no complaints. It gets the job done just fine and even folds up. Beware when you open it. The first time I opened it the basket snapped open so fast that I smacked my hand pretty bad. You learn how to carefully open it after a while. I would recommend, but I have to admit there might be better out there. There is a bit of room for improvement.

Does what it claim to do
Okay, this little thing is innovative. It folds and it use a spring to fold out. Its not bad in terms of design. However the quality does left something to be desired.First of all there are sharp wire edges and your hand will be pressing against them when you open/close the mechanism. If you are not careful it will cut your skin. I end up taping them until i find a better solution to it.Second, the quality is not consistent. I bought 2 of these baskets, one of them is definitely more user friendly, the spring does not snap your finger, and you can safely open and close. The other one has spring that are much stronger and the wire digs into your finger before you can close it. So buyers beware.Giving 5 stars just because it serves its purpose.

Folding bike basket
It was a bit tight of a squeeze to get this basket on the handle bars of my Jetson Bolt Pro, but once on, it fits snugly at the top and I didn't need to use their clamps to secure the basket hooks. However, when I put their plastic pieces over the basket hooks, I had their plastic pieces extend over the ends (like they tell you to not do, as that position blocks the screw holes) since I didn't need to clamp it on and this position of the plastic pieced prevented the hooks from scratching the handle bars as I squeezed the basket over them. I then used a zip tie to attach the bottom of the basket to the head tube (putting a piece of plastic in-between to avoid scratches and noises). Needless to say, I won't be casually removing this basket. I gave the basket 3 stars for "easy to install" since the above was mostly improvised, but you may find it easier to install depending on your bicycle. I'm also still able to fold down the handle bars with the basket in place. The basket springs open when you unfold it (watch your fingers!) and will likely rattle while open. I can fold it even though its mounted to the front, and when folded, it seems clamped enough that hopefully it won't rattle when riding.Overall i'm happy with it, although I'm awaiting warmer days to test it on an actual ride.

Looking forward to using these once the snow's gone
I wanted to turn my e-bike into a cargo-hauler, and had almost decided on panniers when I saw these at a more reasonable price. I've installed them on either side of my rear rack. I did use zip-ties to keep them from rattling. I'm pleased with the initial quality - they seem well-built, and the springs do what they're supposed to. Hope the latch that keeps everything folded up doesn't pop on a big bump, but it'd be easy to enhance that with a strip of Velcro if it does. One of the two I purchased was missing a bolt, but I was able to use one I had in my toolbox. The other of the two I purchased had both hangars bent, but they were easy to bend back in place. I guess taken together, there may be some QA issues to watch out for, but for me, they weren't deal-killers. Will try to post a picture in the near future.
