Margherita Pepperoni Sticks (4 Sticks)

PRICEY BUT WORTH IT

My husband‘s been eating margarita, pepperoni, as long as I have known him.He will be 80 next month. Great taste and my grandsons love it as well.

Recently pepperoni sticks have been in short supply in grocery stores. Of course, Amazon has some listed. Margherita brand has a listing of 4 sticks for under $30, so I ordered it. It came shrink wrapped with a small label and a sticker stating "best if used by March, 2022" and that was all. No lot number, no production date, and no instructions or info what-so-ever. Since Margherita recently had to recall over 10,000 lbs of pepperoni for listeria contamination, a lot number would be nice. Also in the past we had to remove the casing before slicing a pepperoni stick, but it was almost impossible to remove on this product. Come to find out, the casing on Margherita pepperoni is edible, but info included to let us know that. Also, Margherita brand is owned by Smithfield, a Chinese owned company, if that is important to you.

I entered into he realm of YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!My mom used to bring this stuff down from the US every time she traveled and that was the 80's But I felt that I may have never been able to enjoy this amazing taste again yet alone brag about itOur local delis get this same brand from the local distributors but strangely never the pepperoni so I decided Let me make a bold step and review his item and use he opportunity to insist from whom supplied me these sausages to send me a couple of ticks to take to the distributors to make them disciples of great taste!This stuff is great as a stand alone snack or doused in some great sauce and dressed over some angel hair pastaI tell you folks some times in lie you need to experience something to really go ga ga about it..just like a first kiss ..trust me you will most def fall deeply in love with this{Fingers Crossed} send me some more I assure you.. The Caribbean will love you for this triumph of a product I must let our local distributors taste this amazing pepperoni
