Global 4" Hollow Ground Santoku GS 57

The quality of any global knife is impeccable! This was an amazing deal too! This knife is a perfect size and weight, holds its sharp edge too!

I prefer smaller knives. The control is tighter and they’re easily handled.This little knife is what I use in the kitchen 98% of the time. Lightweight, easy grip, and hands/fingers don’t get chafed or pinched against blade/handle like other brands I’ve tried.It doesn’t have much heft, so grab a different kitchen weapon for any bone cutting or rutabagas (the other 2%).It’s great with small and medium foodstuffs, and if kept sharpened, it performs well with larger items.Keep it sharp, and it’ll keep you happily cutting, chopping, slicing, and julienning like a Food Network pro. …Perhaps whilst watching Knives Out movies to get yourself in the spirit of veg prep and honing your knife skills.*I have 3 of these lovely knives (similarly, Knives Out movies are a set of 3 films), so now I keep the rest of my knife collection in semi-retirement.*Author’s Note: Knives Out movies will likely fail at inspiring any knife-handling skills in the kitchen.Also, the author does not recommend handling sharp knives whilst watching films, as injury may result. Beware.

Excellent knife, 100% recommended

I just got this Santoku and though it seems small, it's super sharp and has been slicing very thin pieces of everything I slice over the last couple days. Super feel in weight and very smooth slicing.I have other global knives but this one is my go to knife for now.Eventually all the knives have a particular use that works slightly better per the design I might add.but that's all part of the fun and creativity that happens.

We love the Global knives and are happy we added the 4” hollow ground Santok to our collection. As with our other Global knives, this one is very sharp, and well balanced. The hollow ground surface allows us to cut foods that tend to stick to standard knives. Foods such as cheese never stick, making it so much easier to slice. Great purchase! Highly recommended!!

Excellent knife, fits my hand extremely sharp out of the box. Have multiple global knifes from paring knife to bread knife, all come very sharp hold their edge well

I bought it as a in-between knife for paring and dicing tasks, but it is so sharp and comfortable to use I find myself using it for most things, from chef knife to paring knife tasks. I love it.

These knives are amazing. They make prep work so easy. Great grip and sharp. They have great weight.

Excellent for every day use, much more manageable than a large cook’s or santoku. My wife loves it as well.
