Product arrived okay, however invoice with product shows total cost as $156.46 and I was charged $290.01. What happened with the $133.55 that is not accounted for?

We have a green cheek conure that we like to travel with to work, family, for walks outside, etc. I wanted something that would be spacious and comfortable for him, as well as well ventilated. This backpack is very well made. Its comfortable to wear. I love that it has covers that roll up or down to keep him shaded if it gets too sunny, or for car rides if he gets sick. The pouch that clips on is nice to keep his little pouches of food and treats in. He has not chewed the mesh... yet. So, so far, so good on that. But i like that the mesh is not that flimsy, and seems to be good quality. My one main complaint is that the food bowls are very difficult to get in! I cant even get one of them inside the ring at all. So, poor chap usually has to go without food/drink already in there. Which is why its nice to have the pouch, so that i can carry little food bowls in there when we stop. They are pretty deep also. Its not the worst thing, but it wish that we could at least use those while traveling. There is a strong smell when you initially get it. But, I wiped it down with vinegar and water, and let it soak in the sun for a few days, and now its fine. So make sure to give it around a week or so to air out before using it. It folds down pretty flat and has a lovely carrying case. I like that there is also a mesh pocket on the one side so that you can put stuff in. I may try to see if I can fit a drinking water bottle in there for him. I think the newer ones have a set up for that. I love that the handle is at the MIDDLE of the top of carrier, not off to the front or the back. That way, when we pick it up by the handle, the bird doesnt tip backward or forward. It has a good amount of vent holes and mesh coverage, so I feel like he is getting the air and circulation he needs, but I still woudnt use this for any longer than you need to for transport. I do have a mini fan that I can put in the side pocket if I feel he needs it. I would have loved to have seen a place to hook a toy in there for him. However, it has vent holes on the top that I can jerry rig one in there if need be. But it would have been nice to have one in there already. Overall, I definitely recommend this product. Its well made, and good value for the money. Our little guy can be transported safely without dragging a bulky, heavy cage around, which means we are able to include him in being with us a lot more .

I really love this parrot carrier! There's so many different things you can do with it! The perch was a little bit too wide and slippery for our yellow shouldered Amazon, so we were able to utilize the holes on each side of the carrier and use thick zip ties and those rope bundle purchase which come in many different sizes and thicknesses and lengths and whatnot, and now she feels very secure in it because we've got it zip tied on both sides to the point where it doesn't move around when we're traveling and make her feel unsteady and she can climb up either side of it or sit on it like a swing in the middle at the bottom and reach everything perfectly for the water and food and whatnot. She absolutely doesn't mind being in it whatsoever and she can see everything I'm like other carriers that were sitting here too high. That's the other good thing about using an adjustable perch like those rope ones that flax because you can put your bird in a position that I can see out of the front clearly and that they feel safe and secure and not falling off the perch. The quality is fantastic other than I wish the zipping was smoother and that there was a way to have a snap on the front clear plastic window so that when you open it up you have a way to keep it held open while you're getting your bird out. We are going to sew on a small Velcro piece to resolve this but if the seller added a snap or Velcro to add with this, I would say that the item is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend this item!

IT IS VERY LARGE: it will accommodate, almost all parrots. The largest parrot that it can accommodate is a moluccan or a triton cockatoo. (It would not accommodate a macaw due to the long tail.) IT HAS WEATHER PROTECTION: It’s waterproof so if you get caught in the rain, your bird stays dry. It keeps in some heat so you can go out on cooler days. It blocks gusts of wind. 🚫 🌧️ 💨 ❄️ IT IS NOT METAL REINFORCED: Any parrot worth his beak will chew out of this in under a minute because nothing in it has metal screening like the more expensive ones. I HAD ISSUES: The perch continually rotated around causing the bird to fall off, and is definitely a design flaw. The perch is unusable. DESPITE THAT: you can use the bag without the perch successfully, however; the parrots like holding onto the wire bottom better because it’s more stabilizing for them. We took our African gray parrots on a hike several times and they are enjoying this immensely. We simply left the perch off and let the partots stand on the wire bottom, which they seem to enjoy more anyway, due to being more secure. We have also discovered you can wear this on your front and on your back with no problem. We choose to wear it on our front because we can see the bird at all times and make sure they’re not chewing. The bird can also see you at all times as well, aiding in their mental security. Due to the rotating perch, and the easy-chew-through fabric, I would have returned this: IF IT WERE’NT FOR TWO THINGS: WE USE IT: I have African gray parrots, who simply ♥️LOVE ♥️this… can’t take it away from them once they love it. 🦅 PRICE: the larger, chew-proof brand models are $3000 and up. I looked everywhere and there is really, nothing cheaper. So for $100 some dollars, this fits the bill for my less-aggressive chewers who enjoy being worn with a knapsack facing forward…

Great travel cage for going to avian vet, assembled quickly. Unfortunately, our African Grey freaks out at anything new, so we are slowly introducing it to her. I’d post a photo, but the cage would be empty.
