I have received this for my husband, who has slight form of dementia. The ribbon is nice and bright for easy locating. The alarm buttons are plain and simple. No fuss, no muss. This is so easy for anyone to operate. The sound is nice, clear and loud. I have it on the lower level so I can hear if it is pushed on the upstairs level. However, little chihuahua mix seems to think it is the doorbell and hightails to the door and barks all the time. I have tested it for when he is outdoors and it comes in clear. We have a large yard.The problem with having an alert for a patient with dementia, is it is easy to forget to use it. Simple as that, forgets to use it, or forgets to put it on his neck.All around, I like this and not only for emergencies but for ringing for attention when one cannot hear you calling. Great product. Too easy to install, as I was leery of getting it started.

Although this is likely made for someone injured or immobile in bed, to call someone in another room, it has more uses.We use this in my retail store. If the front gets too busy with customers, they need to merely press a button and we have the chime set to the sound of a cuckoo clock to differentiate from the bell that goes off when someone walks in the store. If we here the "cuckoo cuckoo" we know help is needed and can rush up front. Because you can pick your chime, you can choose one that really stands out so that you connect to going to assist.You could have this in a child's room if they need to call you when sick, or in an elderly person's room if they need help. You could have this in a healthy home that is two stories so parents can call kids to dinner to to come help when they hear the chime.Lots of uses but works simply without the need for a conversation...and the volume level is perfect although you can adjust that.We use it daily

I got this for my husband to use. He is ill and is prone to falls. Some days though, he's feeling well enough to venture out in the yard or to the garage and I wanted something in place for him to call for help if he couldn't use his phone. This is perfect. He can wear it around his neck and push the button if he needs help. There are several alert sounds to choose from and almost all of them can be heard throughout our house when the button is pushed. This puts me a bit more at ease when he ventures outside alone and gives him peace if mind knowing he can signal for help if needed. The signal button and receiver come already paired, so all you need to do is install the included battery and you're good to go. The included lanyard enabled the unit to be worn like a necklace and also included is a 3M double sided mounting piece of you want to have it in a stationary place. Worth every penny and then some. I would definitely recommend.

The thing I like best about this panic button is the volume. It can be set very loud, which is what I need. It works just as promised. What I don't like about it is the receiver has to be plugged in, so it's not as portable as it should be. It still deserves 4 stars.

Great for an emergency and for my elderly mother. I ordered this in case of an emergency and she needs help. It is loud enough to hear throughout our home and keeps her feeling safer. It is a good value for the ease of use and price.

I love this caregiver pager. My dad just got home from hospital. He can't walk by himself. He can ring the call button and it wakes me up from a sound sleep. Super easy set up...couple minutes...good variety of tunes...4 adjustable volume.Works anywhere in the house.Thinking this would be beneficial at times when member of family is sick in bed, or healing from a surgery, etc...to get hold of another family member in another room in the house without yelling.

It’s a helpful product with an affordable price. I boughit for my mom who lives alone in downstairs. It works well for this distance. The sound is high enough to pay ones attention.
