This piece looks better than the pictures!
When I first saw this piece on ebay and amazon, I didn't really like it because I thought it looked schlocky and unrealistic and perhaps a bad fit for my Egyptian village. The other pieces looked more realistic and this one looked more commercial to me. Finally, I broke down and bought it after watching some reviews of it on YouTube that said this piece is a lot cooler than it looks in 2D pics. Well, I am so glad I bought it. I can't stop looking at it. It is just the right size and the goofy mummy face is awesome. It actually makes the piece. I say, buy one if you have a Lemax Egyptian village in your collection. It may also work in a Halloween or even a carnival set up!

Broken but unsurprising with these
I bought this for my nephew for Christmas. He loves spooky stuff and mummies so I thought I would get him started on his own spooky village with this piece. I’ve bought quite a few Lemax pieces before in multiple lines so I knew to check before wrapping it. As with just about every Lemax piece I have ever purchased, it had broken pieces straight out of the packaging. One of the mummy “gargoyles” broke off, there was a random arm to something floating around in the bag and the bottom piece that holds the part shown in the window comes apart. So far that’s just what I’ve noticed from removing from the styrofoam and it still being in the plastic bag they wrap it in. I’ll inspect it more when I attempt to glue the pieces back on, but I’ll have to let my sister in law know ahead of time so my nephew doesn’t get upset thinking he did something to it if I miss a piece or two.Bottom line, it’s still a cute piece and works wonderfully, but be aware that it will likely arrive broken in some way or another. The glue Lemax uses for their pieces seems to fail more times than you would expect.

Get the Glue Ready
The piece itself is very nice and will look a lot better after I glue 10 pieces that broke away from main part.
