55 inch Samsung tv mounted on a patio - got this in 2023 during a prime savings event at under $100.Used the provided template and a level (a small one was provided in the kit) to mark and drill holes for the wall mount. Installed in concrete block so pre drilled holes with a concrete bit and used TapCons instead of provided hardware (not included in kit). That said, if properly mounted to a wood stud the mount would be very solid.Attaching to the Samsung tv I found the screws to be too long or too short with the provided hardware and spacers. I opted to take a trip to the hardware store and purchase 4 middle length fasteners - instead of just stacking washers on top of one another to get the longer fastener snug. Had no issues taking the provided hardware with me and asking the store clerk for a fastener that matched thread and width, but was at about the middle point of the 2 provided fastener lengths. $5 later and with 4 new hex head fasteners in hand I was in business. Note: Do not torque fasteners more than a gentle snug!!! If the fasteners start to loosen you will know well before the tv falls off the wall.There are a set of Phillips head fasteners that secure the rails behind the tv at the proper spread length for the tv. Installed the TV and rail fasteners so we could slide the tv laterally against the mount about 2 inches to cover the wall mount when positioned flat against wall. The slots in the mount permitted this without modification. It took a little propositioning with the tv and rails laid up, some measuring, some math, and some sketch work but it works perfect without the risk of the tv sliding off.Swing is smooth and sturdy. No issues with positioning at 90 degrees to the wall. And the fact the wall mount is covered when flat on the wall is an added and unexpected sleek look bonus.Overall after a week having this installed I highly recommend this tv mounting hardware if you are able to use a tape measure with decent accuracy, can install heavy gauge screws in walls/studs, can use a level, and want 90 degree swing - and the price seems fair to you for stable and sturdy support. Note that you may need to run to the hardware store for some mounting hardware, that the wall mount usually sits to the side of the tv (unless you can pull off the slide to cover - which is not an inherent design feature from the manufacturer), and due to the swing feature this mount is not close to wall fit (adds 1-2 inches vs a close mount).

First, as someone that's had to pull a TV off the wall to hook up a new device, I love how I can just swing this one out, make my new connection, and push it back into position. I'm very happy with my purchase. Take your time while installing this. You will want to make sure it is centered on a stud. I went so far as to use a small nail to press into the sheetrock so I could find the exact edges of the stud. Because it swings, if your wall is off, or you don't get the mount installed perfectly straight, the TV can be level in one position and not in another.

I like the fact it has no wobble or signs of weakening over time, very well made.

The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that the vertical mounting brackets are too large for a 32" tv. They stick out the top or bottom. I solved this by mounting a 200mm handle to the bottom to use as a hand hold when swinging the TV so that my boys don't have to grab the screen. My oldest and youngest boys share a room and have a TV with a game system. I built a book knook into the wall so that they could get some climb in there and get some privacy. When my oldest son was complaining about the younger one watching him play video games when it was his turn I bought this so that he could swing the TV around and play inside the book knook. Now that's the only way they want to play so that the other can't watch.

Mount has worked great for the past month, no sag. However, the drywall anchors included will rip right out of the wall. Make sure you are bolting this into a stud
