Loved it! Two HEA's in one book!!
Let’s start with the first character we meet… Honor. I am completely obsessed with her character. The trauma in her background combined with her inability to actually depend on someone else made her so complex. You realize from the get go that she doesn’t like to ask or accept help when offered. The only person she has ever had to depend on is Lexie and one other family member. Honor has decided to buy her own house to move closer to the people she loves. She picks a fixer upper in an older neighborhood. Little does she know she has some of the hottest neighbors around. Plus these super hot manly neighbors love to help her!! When she ask’s Jason to put on a shirt it’s priceless I laughed so hard.Jason is so unbelievably patient with Honor. At first he didn’t understand why she didn’t want his help with remodeling since that is what he does for a living. Jason slyly set it up for his nephew Colt to help Honor when she needed it. I love how he just waits for her to ask him for help. It’s so small at first, then she asks for help with bigger and bigger things. He slowly starts to understand why she is so reserved on asking for help. Especially after he finds out why she leaves the house at all hours, especially in the middle of the night. Jason is an all around good guy and I think his calm temperament helps Honor’s uptight temperament. They are perfectly flawed for each other.Sullivan comes off as so secretive.. I love how you don’t even meet him right away. He doesn’t have time to be involved with anyone. Sullivan is to busy trying to make his martial arts school a success while helping the less fortunate kids. Then he randomly meets Lexie by helping her carry in a plant to Honor’s house. He’s trying to keep his distance but something about the carefree in your face Lexie is appealing to him.Oh Lexie how lovely you are! She comes off as an over the top kind of gal. Says what she wants when she wants, which of course seems to rub Sullivan the wrong way. I adore how she has Honor’s back no matter when or why. She’s so flirty with all the guys in the neighborhood but never crosses any lines until she meets Sullivan. It was so appealing how Lexie put on a big front that she didn’t care how other people saw her but underneath it all it really mattered what they thought. All of the characters in this book had great depth. Even the “side” characters like Colt and Violet. I just wanted to pick them apart and see what made them tick. I really hope to see more of them soon! All in all I would highly recommend this book!!

A fun, family based contemporary romance.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but Don't Tempt Me is my first Lori Foster book. I've wanted to try one before, but I just never got around to it. I'm so happy that I finally tried one of her books. I had no idea what I had been missing.Don't Tempt Me was a great contemporary romance read. I enjoyed Lori Foster's writing. In this book, she had two love stories going at once. Honor and Jason's was the main focus, but there was enough of Lexie and Sullivan's story to make it feel like a complete story. I did have one minor issue with the writing, though. Don't Tempt Me was told in third person with points of view for Honor, Jason, Lexie and Sullivan. The narration would switch mid-chapter without warning beside **** and I would be thrown off because it would always take me a few sentences to figure out who was narrating now. It would have been helpful to have name headings to make the switch easier and more fluid. Other than that little issue, I loved the story.Honor was a very strong person, but she was kind of a mess. I loved the support she found in Jason. He knew how to help Honor in ways she could accept. Whether it was helping with her house or being a shoulder to lean on, Jason was there for her. She also gave Jason something he never thought he'd find when she gave him her love. It was all so sweet.Lexie and Sullivan's relationship was also sweet. Lexie was a party girl always on the look out for a good time. Sullivan was down to party, but spending time with Lexi made him crave more. More was something neither of them wanted, but being with each other quickly changed that. Some of my favorite characters weren't even part of the love story. Colt and Hogan were amazing. They were Jason's family, but they went above and beyond to become Honor's too. I loved them so much and I can't wait to read more about them as the series continues.Overall, I adored Don't Tempt Me. I liked it so much that I went ahead and requested the second book in the series from my library. I can't wait to get my hands on it and experience more of the Guthrie brothers!

Another Hit
In Don't Tempt Me, you not only get Jason and Honor's story, you get the bonus of Lexie and Sullivan, plus meeting Hogan, Colt, Violet and Nathan. This is a fun group to get to know. I also love a story without a lot of angst between the hero and heroine, sometimes a story of just falling in love is really nice. Lori Foster always has been a great storyteller and she never disappoints. This is mainly Jason and Honor's story but supporting cast just makes the book even better. Honor's family and her relationship with them are a big part of this story too.

Don't Tempt Me
This is a very touching romance with Honor finding people could love her besides her grandfather and Jason was the one that mattered the most to her. From the moment he saw her on the day that she moved in next door to him he was head over heals for her. All he wanted to do was protect her and keep her safe. She had trouble trusting anyone besides her friend Lexie and wanted to prove she did not need anyones help. She was to learn that people wanted to help her because they enjoyed doing things for her and not because they thought she was incapable of doing it herself. Her parents both abandon her and left her with her grandfather to raise her who she loved. Now years later he was dying and in a nursing home and she would do anything to help him cope with dementia also. Jason , Hogan his brother and Colt his nephew were out to prove to her that they were there for her no matter what she needed because they all loved her since Jason did. Lexis also met a neighbor named Sullivan who was very special to her and would stand by Honor no matter what also. It was a very romantic story as Jason broke down Honor's protected walls and showed her how much he loved her and was never leaving her like her parents did. She loved him too and learned to trust him with her heart. I am looking forward to reading the next story in this series about these brothers with Hogan finding love.
