I work sometimes with my elbows bent, resting upright, elbow point on a hard surface.. This unconscious position has been pushing my upper arm and shoulder out of alignment. These pads help alleviate the hard surface push and keep my arm/shoulder is much more normal position. I gave 4 stars because they are designed to stick to a surface and will slide if you don't stick them down. I move mine to the dining room table for use sometimes.
