Hamilton Beach 37541 'Digital Simplicity' Rice Cooker & Steamer

More than 2 months I bought this cooker it works fine.There is a service centre in HSR bangalore.I bought it for Rs2200/ which is great.Now it is very costly.

Worst service. Can't find service locations for repairs. Please don't purchase any Hamilton Beach products.

I recently purchased the Hamilton Beach Rice & Hot Cereal Cooker, and I must say, my experience with this product has been quite disappointing. While it boasts convenient features and promises ease of use, there is one major drawback that significantly impacted my satisfaction with the cooker.One of the main issues I encountered with this cooker is that the rice tends to spoil if the lid is left open for any significant amount of time. This was a frustrating and unexpected problem, as I assumed that leaving the lid open briefly wouldn't have a substantial effect on the cooked rice. However, I found that even a short duration of exposure to air caused the rice to become stale and lose its desirable texture and flavor.The inability to keep the rice fresh and appetizing with the lid open is a significant inconvenience. It limits the flexibility and convenience that one would expect from a rice cooker. If I needed to pause the cooking process temporarily or check on the rice's progress, I had to ensure that the lid was closed promptly to avoid any spoilage. This extra step was cumbersome and hindered the overall user experience.Furthermore, the quality of the rice cooked in this appliance did not meet my expectations. Despite following the recommended measurements and cooking times, I found that the rice often turned out slightly undercooked or unevenly cooked. This inconsistency was frustrating, as I had hoped for reliable results with each use. Additionally, the non-stick coating on the inner pot seemed to wear off quite quickly, making it challenging to clean and maintain the appliance's appearance.While the Hamilton Beach Rice & Hot Cereal Cooker does offer some positive aspects, such as its compact size and easy-to-use interface, the significant drawback of rice spoilage with the lid open greatly impacted my overall satisfaction. Considering the importance of preserving the freshness and quality of cooked rice, I expected better performance from this appliance.I regretfully cannot recommend the Hamilton Beach Rice & Hot Cereal Cooker due to the issue of rice spoilage when the lid is left open. The inconvenience and disappointment caused by the spoiled rice significantly overshadow the positive features of the cooker. If you are looking for a reliable rice cooker that allows for flexibility and consistent results, I would suggest exploring other options available in the market.

I gifted this rice maker to my daughter because I have had the identical model for a couple of years. It is the easiest appliance to use, cooks my rice perfectly, and keeps it warm. It includes a steamer basket, and the measuring cup plus two bonus utensils. I truly love it and use it often.
