The fish like it with or without food.
I usually add it to food but on the bottle it also says to add 1mL per 10 gallons once a week for broadcast feeding, at which point the fish try to eat the little spherules in the formula.

Corals love it
Went fallow due to Ich in my 300 gallon reef and used this to feed corals in leu of fish waste in the tank and my corals/ gorgonians/ filter feeders love it! Could be cheaper though. Bit much for a bottle of nasty smelling fishy goop.

bottle screw top cracked; seal broken and leaking; box undamaged
The bottle must have been damaged prior to shipping because there was no plastic debris in the box. Too much of a hassle to return and leaking was minimal.
