Spice!
This was really tasty, it could be spicy if your sensitive. But it is really good.

Use your judgment
I'm a full-time Registered Nurse always on the go. I've never been consistent with meal prepping, so my lunch during the week consists of the closest fast food restaurant. After seeing the ads for Huel and reading all the reviews, I figured I'd buy a bag on Amazon to try for myself before committing to their prescription. I was sold on the ingredients and the fact that it's vegan friendly, since I have a sensitive stomach.Upon opening the Mexican Chili bag, the first two things I noticed were the nice aromas of the seasonings, and the lack of a scooper. Other reviewers have also expressed the lack of a scooper, so I used a 1/3 cup from home and a thermos. I turned the bag upside-down and shook vigorously to make sure the ingredients were well spread, as other reviewers have voiced inconsistencies with seasonings vs. the veggies/rice.I've only used very hot to boiling water to let it sit for 5-10 minutes, and I tend to eyeball the amount rather than measure. From both batches I've made, the sauce has the consistency of refried beans. The flavor is edible, and I do get a pleasant little kick from the seasoning (I have a week tongue when it comes to spicy food). It's got a little crunchiness to it, probably remedied with more water or letting it sit longer.Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and I ended up going on the Huel site to create a subscription. They're sending a free a t-shirt, warming container, and scooper with my purchase. One thing I've noticed in the reviews they don't mention is that they offer discounts for medical professionals and veterans.

No Scooper
Tried it today. Great product with some additional salt. Unforunately my bag did not contain a scooper, which is about 1/3 cup. Other than that, I have no complaints yet.

Not the same, super bland
This bag is not old it says exp sometimes in 20024. This is only my second bag of this kind. It is not the same. It is way lighter and has different beans in it and the taste is super lacking . Disappointed as the 1st bag purchased was very satisfying, which lead me to grab a second. It seems it may be a hit or miss on flavor. At least it is edible. Just tell yourself it's good for you🥴 and it's better than no food at all., Update: add some sauce to it and it's much better and or you get use to the taste. Added a star.

Great option for easy meal
I think a lot of the bad reviews started with really high expectations. Keep in mind this is a dry mix you heat up with water - you're not going to end up with 5 star dining. I kind of expected oatmeal so I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered this to have on hand at work when i dont have time to meal prep. Canned soup has been my go to but i am totally sick of it and it has like triple the sodium and NONE of the protein this stuff has. I got the Mexican chili. I just eyeballed the water amount and ended up with a good consistency. A half serving is actually plenty for me which makes me feel better about the price point. Looking forward to trying new flavors.

So far my favorite.
I love how easy it is to make, it did not come with a scooper so it's hard to get the water ratio perfect! I have used this as a chili dip with chips. Also mixed this with the Mac and cheese Huel has. 2 scoops is perfect, I made my own scoop with a 1/3 cup.

Quick replacement meal
Overall I do like this flavor, this is my first Huel meal product also so I would like to try the other flavors too. After eating, I don't feel hungry which is good. That means that it's filling and I don't need to make a second bowl. I'm use to eating chili with ground beef in it so I tend to make this soup more thick or chunky with less water. You do need to let it sit and let the food soften up if you do the pour hot water method. I tried microwaving the soup and have gotten faster results.I don't like that it doesn't come with a scoop inside. It say's "2 scoops (97g)". So you have to find your own scoop or use a weight scale to measure out 97grams. So what I end up doing is measure "with my heart" type of scoops until I took the scooper from my protein powder which does 83grams in two scoops.I think overall these type of meals are what you make them out to be for your own personal diet. It's a quick meal that is easy to make in a normal protein shaker or bowl.

Flavor isn't great, added a lot of extras. They also forgot to include a scoop.
Seems like a silly thing to worry about, however their directions are ONLY in these apparently super secret scoop sizes. I don't know why they'd tell you how many ounces of water but not give you any idea how big the scoop size is in case they forget to include it like with mine, or if you lose yours. Flavor isn't great but it works for a quick lunch or add some extra ingredients like salsa and spices.
