Surpassed expectations. Was using messier Lab Series and Jack Black pre-shave lotions really made for regular razors. They were adequate, but this Lab Series electric shave solution is idea. No odor. Not messy. No alcohol-like smell. Just enough lubrication to make my Panasonic electric glide over my face and cut even better.

This pre-shave grooming solution works amazingly well. I use mine with a Panasonic Arc 5 and there are times it yields a result almost as good as a manual blade. I’ve never used a pre-shave liquid that works this well. You have to learn the trick to getting it on your face—which is to put the face of the dispenser flat against your skin and then be careful not to squeeze the bottle so it doesn’t overwet the skin and waste the product—but once you do, you can get the most amazing shaves with your favorite electric razor. It has a gentle fragrance that does not overwhelm the senses, and it dries well on the skin, too, when finished. The price for a bottle is very high, but you need to use so little per shave that it ends up being no more expensive than any other lesser product. I highly recommend this grooming solution and am so glad I tried it out. A solid five stars.

I found Lectric Shave brand unpleasant to use though effective at giving me a better shave. This stuff is a lot more expensive but isn't at all unpleasant to use, and gives at least as good a shave without the undesirable after effects. A little goes a long way.

Very nice, but for me, not worth six times the price versus the popular green pre shave.

It’s good, and it works. It doesn’t stink like Williams Electric pre shave lotion. That lotion smell does not go away. You can smell the alcohol in it, but after using it there is no fragrance left behind. The only thing keeping it from five stars is the price.

Years ago I used Williams electric shave but I’m glad I stopped, there are a lot of questionable chemicals in it. I was hoping this would be as good for shaving, sadly it is not. I have a Braun 9 razor and Lab Series just did not provide enough lubrication. For this price I should be delighted, it is not worth it.

I have used 8 different pre-shave solutions. I suffered skin irritation... burning senesations... not effective at close electric shaves.... and the worse for me was (in 3 instances) having my face turn bright red from skin irritation with a resulting burning sensation all over any area I had shaved with my Braun Series 9 electric razor. Then tried the Lab Series Men's Pre-Electric Shave Solution. FINALLY I FOUND NOT ONLY A SOLUTION that did not irritate my face skin but this product is FANATSTIC at assisting in my getting almost razor quality close shaves. TOTALLY OUTSTANDING IN ALL RESPECTS !!!! As for fragrance, the product had no detectible fragrance. All I can say in conclusion.... ''I NO LONGER DREAD SHAVING AND HAVE RETURNED TO DAILY ELECTRIC SHAVES THANKS TO THIS OUTSTANDING PRODUCT!!!".

If you are shaving with an electric razor, and you are getting skin irritation, you should try this product. It seems to act as some sort of dry lubricant that stays on the surface of your skin even after the solvent base evaporates, it allows the electric razor to slide across your skin without pulling at it, which leads to a better shave, unless irritation I really like to use this stuff however, it is extraordinarily expensive for the amount that you get granted it does last a long time but I can’t believe that there isn’t a product at half this price that does the same thing I just haven’t found it yet

Allows an excellent shave . Smell is resonably nice as well as being not too greasy on skin.
