These sound terrible. I own good headphones like the Hifiman HE-500, AKG K540 (the good ones sold in the US a few years ago not the ones currently sold in Japan which are shrill and sibilant), & AKG K7XX as well as good speakers like the Emotiva Stealth 8 & GR Research N2X. These definitely aren't good. They're not even okay. They sound congested and boomy. The bass has a hump in the response that's at much too high of a frequency even if you like bass. It's hardly bass it's so high. Like 120-160Hz. They don't get any better after the mythical forum recommended 200 hour "burn-in" period either. Everyone who has auditioned my pair of these has shared my poor opinion of their sound. I have no idea how there are positive reviews of these or people recommending them.

I bought these because a friend had them who had them broken in (burned in) or what ever some people call it and never heard anything like them I hooked my friends up to a Lil 3watt amp I made and dammmm the bass is unbelievable even without the amp they sound great I ordered another pair in white.doesnt mater if you like rap, soul, jazz, r&b, hip hop, motzart, or even if your a rocker these sound great.in my personal opinion they blow beats audio out not just in sound but also in price.

I actually bought this outside amazon. It arrived a few days ago, so this is an early review.My preferred sound signature is one that somewhat emphasizes the bass frequencies, but not to the detriment of the other frequency areas. I am a little sensitive to extreme treble harshness, but like some treble/clarity to the sound, in other words I like the sound neither too dark or too light...difficult to precisely please me!I also like a soundstage that is not overly constricted, by soundstage I mean the feeling of a real horizontal spread left to right of instruments (I listen to tons of orchestral music, this makes a real difference particularly in this genre).I have been very impressed with how these phones meet these requirements so far, especially for such a cheap price. I have owned and currently own several pairs of headphones that are 10x the price, but I am currently in a period of exploring sub $100 phones to see what real value items there are in this segment, these would definately count as high value IMHO. BTW - I am not saying these phones beat those $500+ phones! but they get 50-60% there.I play a range of music - classical (my main interest) folk/alternative rock, classic rock, jazz vocals...not much classic basshead music such as dub step etc.I also find them very comfortable to wear, soft ear pads, light overall weight. I have not really tested them for isolation from outside sounds and leakage of the music to the outside environment.Opinions on headphones are notoriously individual and personal, but I have tried many (30+) phones in this sub $100 segment, this is amongst the best I have experienced.I will continue to audition and update if these initial opinions get significantly changed.

コンパクトで音質も好み、価格も手頃なのでHA-Sシリーズを長く使って来ました。このS680は、軽くてスタイリッシュな耳を覆うタイプのS600やS700と、コードが太くて丈夫な耳乗せタイプのS500の いいとこ取り を目指したのかなと個人的には思っています。デザインは好き。スッキリしてカッコいい。他のレビューにもありますが、音が少し篭って聞こえる感じなのでエイジングが必要かと。ヘッドバンドは少々きつく感じるので、好みに広広げると楽になります。ちょっと手を加えると使いやすくなるので、私は満足です。

特にデザインが非常に先進的に格好イイです。性能は、他を知らないため一概に断言することはできませんが、十分満足できるレベルだと感じました。少なくとも私自身にとって不満は無い性能です。あとは、ノイズキャンセリング機能はついていないため機内などでどれほど効果が発揮されるかはまだ未知数ですが、普段使う分においては十分です。

1年前に買った同じものの皮の部分がボロボロになったので。音質は値段にしてはいいと思います。かなり好きなデザインです。ただ皮の部分は使い方にもよると思いますがカバンに入れるとかなりすぐはげます。

【音質】〇届いてすぐ・・・低音がかなり強い印象。全体的にはモコモコした感じでした。↓〇5時間ほど・・・高音がよく聞こえるようになりました。↓〇20時間ほど・・・全体的なモコモコ感が緩和されました。ただクラシックのストリングスは依然こもった音のままでした。↓〇50時間現在・・・クラシックをメインにエイジングした結果、だいぶストリングスもクリアになってきました。まだ若干こもった感は残っているので、もうしばらく使ってみて随時使用感を更新していこうと思います。【使用感】・密閉型なので外の音は、カナル型程ではないにしろシャットアウトされます。インターホンや電話の音が殆ど聞こえなくなります。・当然ながらムレます。涼しい場所でもない限り長時間の使用はキツいです（汗）・コンパクトに折りたためるので携帯に便利です。リュックのポケットにしまうこともできました。【感想】低音が強いのでJ-POPやダンスミュージックを聞くには良いヘッドホンだと思います。高音もよく鳴ってくれます。ただクラシックや久石譲などのストリングス曲は若干こもった音なのでオールマイティなヘッドホンではないのかもしれません。まだ使い始めて間もないので断言できませんが。値段から考えたら相応の品質だと思います。

開封して接続、すぐに「十分な低音再生と、抜けのいい中高音」で再生され、エージング云々は不要。価格の安さを感じさせない良い商品。高額なヘッドフォンも色々試したが、確かに高額な製品はデティールの再現力や楽器のニュアンスはよく伝わる反面、高音域の耳に刺さる感じがきついものが多い。その点、この製品はそう言った不快感もなく聴き疲れも少ない。低音も、迫力がある上に明瞭で、こもった感じがない。不自然に誇張されすぎる感じでもない。１年以上使っているが耐久性にも問題ない。私にはこれで十分。高価なヘッドフォンは必要ない。
