After reading reviews I was a little concerned. But the five star reviews are spot on. They came in a large coil; I laid them flat over night as suggested. They were super easy to install ( I am 5’0” and didn’t even need a step stool or my 6’2” hubby.) . I didn’t have to trim, so that was not an issue. Only suggestion I would give: if you have pets, grab a few dryer sheets and slide the blades through as you hang them to eliminate pet hair. They won’t keep the hair off, but at least you can have clean blades to start with!

To do the job right you could buy a cheap miter box, (plastic). It's a perfect fit. Make sure all the curves are the same. Use a bamboo skewer or a wooden coffee stirrer to put through the hole before you cut and tape and clamp the slats before you cut.

Right out of the box, I was able to hang up 6 where I needed replacements. I didn’t have to flatten them from being sent coiled in the box. Same size as my old ones so I didn’t need to trim them. I maybe should have gotten the off white color instead of white but I can hardly detect a difference.

I think they are OK. They provide basic function and blind/curtain. None if them are broken. I saw some reviews said they were not straight when they hang them. So I open the box immediately after I receive them and flatten them out on our dining table. They do little bend a little, so I flatten on counter side. I also push portion of them out of the dining table to let gravity pull them down to counter the bent portion. After couple of hours, move them back to table and flatten out for a day. They seems straight when put them on. The reason took of 1 star is because after compare them with my old slats, I found out, these new slats are only 1/3 weight of my old slats they are also 20% thinner. So, three new slats weight same as my single old slat. Lightweight is ok if you don't have wind like opened the door or having a fan. Another thing is that they are not as curve as my old one, this new slat is almost flat (see my photo, the top one is my old slat, see how curve it is comparing the new slat at the bottom)

Blinds were long and thick and fitted my living room really well.

These are Great, you do not need to replace the whole set, only those needed. HOWEVER, they arrive in a SMALL square box tightly rolled into a donut shape. They were still curled while hanging a week later. We were moving, and our apartment charges a large fee to replace the entire set of blinds, so we ordered these to replace only the ones needed that had been bent and cracked from behind a piece of furniture. We opened them up and they were like curly cues! We hung one, and it did not hang straight. So, we laid flat on the floor and placed weight on them for a day. No change. We went ahead and hung them, but a week later, they were still curled when we moved out (although a bit better- very noticeable). I let the apartment manager know that we had ordered them, they were new, and that they were seeming to straighten out while hanging. If you need these, they will work, but will not be hanging straight immediately due to how they are shipped.

Just had to trim a couple inches, which was super easy with scissors. Perfect for replacing the old, dingy vertical blinds. They were a little staticky and sticking together, but I just rubbed a fabric softener sheet on them once hung and they no longer stick to together.

Slates were slightly too long at the top. Needed to trim 1/4" off to make the connection with attachment hole and the blind mechanism. Good quality product but be gentle hanging. No problem with the packaging. They arrive coiled, but straighten out quickly. Will probably go through 140 of these as we redo all our verticals. They are expensive but worth it.

Good product. I intentionally bought these a little bit too long for my area but found they were very simple to cut accurately to length in a paper cutter guillotine.
