DON'T BUY THIS!! The Ball leaks and fills with water
I have only had this for a couple months and the ball started leaking and filled with water and no longer actuated the valve resulting in water running continuously and a huge water bill!

So far so good
Ive used several different brands and types of these things and they've all failed me. So far so good with this one though it's only been a few months. Time will tell. This feels much more substantial and better quality than any of the others I've tried so that gives me hope that this one is a keeper. The float is made of a thin lightweight metal as well as the arm. The rest is brass which is typically where they've all failed in the past. The arm is a little long for my setup and that could be an issue depending on your needs.
