Okay, it's not real leather. But for my 10-year-old Apple iPad it looks great AND protects amazingly. My original black faux leather case was looking pretty bad with ragged edges, but the iPad still works like new. So, when I saw this on Amazon, I decided to give it a try. For less than $20, it makes my iPad look brand new. It even looks and feels like real leather. The front pocket allows you to stash a paper or two in the case. I don't use an Apple Pencil, but this case includes a holder if you have one. The fit is PERFECT. I read the reviews where it was stated that their iPad would not fit in this case. Well, that can only mean they don't have the first-generation version. As you can see from my attached photos, the 12.9 iPad snaps into the corners perfectly. The iPad is not going to slide out of this case, unless I want it to slide out. For reference my iPad measures 12.9 inches from BLACK SCREEN corner to corner. It measures 14.5 inches from corner to corner if you included the white border area. Overall, it measures 12 inches wide and 8 5/8 inches tall. If your iPad has those dimensions, it will fit this case perfectly. The on/off, volume, camera, and microphone cutouts are perfectly placed as you can see from the photos. I don't usually rave about under $20 items, but this one deserves the most stars I can give it. It makes me iPad look as good as the day it was new. Highly recommended.

Many years again, I had a case custom made for my iPad Mini. When I updated my Mini, that beautiful case no longer fit. Since then, I’ve had at least two cases that were good, but not great. This case outshines them all. It’s not quite as pretty as the old custom case, but it has more features and is far more functional. I ordered the brown and it’s dark and rich. The case is not cheap looking; it has the appearance of genuine leather. I love it.

I absolutely LOVE this style of case for my iPad Air 3 Gen, that I’d just purchased. The solid base is fantastic for propping up the iPad in my lap with a very solid feel that will not tip over. And it looks so elegant, and clean from both the outside and how the inside hard shell holds the iPad. Especially when comparing the ZtoTopCases to other competing cases that are so ugly with how the others try to hold the iPad in place with vinyl leather that overlaps the screen and feels clumsy and does not protect the corners of the iPad the way that this ZtoTopCase does!!! 👍 Plus, the “palm/hand” strap is VERY useful when the cover is folded over completely, as it makes holding the iPad soooooo much easier with a lot less hand fatigue. Just love this classy “professional” looking case. My wife just saw my new case and she’d love to have the same case for her brand new M4 13” iPad Pro. So I hope ZtoTopCases is reading these reviews. So for us, just to add a bit more here… this is much MUCH better than the “Smart Cover Tri-Folding” type cases with how we use our iPads as couch or bed tablets (or again on a person’s lap). This will NOT fall over. Or also like in the kitchen with recipes. Plus, the outside of the cover is always on the outside, unlike the tri-fold where when those are folded a person has to watch that the felt is on a squeaky clean surface (otherwise when flipping the cover back closed a person might be putting something sticky or other debris back onto a person’s iPad screen)… so again less things to watch for or balancing when using this great case! Hope this will help others out there!😇 Plus, I have 4,400+ contacts/clients in my iPhone who have followed me from my ole Apple Sales Manager / Level III Tech days… so lots of people buy what I have, as they know that I do my research and that I only buy the best of the best products which are also very thoughtful in their purpose and uses. Great case, still going strong after 7 years of abuse.

I have just received the case today. It is a very attractive comfortable and useful case. The device feels well protected. The material quality is excellent. The pen is well secured. The iPad is able to be positioned at good viewing angles. So far so good. Obviously, I can't vouch for longevity but fingers crossed.
