Great Lyre to design for yourself
I have seen this make yourself lyre for a while. I decided it would be fun to make one myself. Not sure what type of wood it was but it seems very sturdy. I went ahead and ordered other items to make it to my liking. Gold pegs and inserts to protect the wood with the metal strings that came with it. I also used a wood stain and a sealer instead of the paints that came with it. I was able to tune it easily and very accurately with my tuner. It sounds wonderful and is worth the money to have the fun designing your own pentatonic 7 string lyre and playing it.

Second purchace, this one is defective.
The tuning peg holes are drilled oversize and will not hold tune. This is my second purchace, the first did not have this problem and produced a fine harp. Believe this is a defective one. Replacement requested. Review will be upgraded if replacement is received
