Mansions of the Moon for the Green Witch: A Complete Book of Lunar Magic (Green Witchcraft Series, 6)

This book is actually a manual which gives complete, ready-to-go rituals that even a beginner can do,but complicated enough for the more experienced mage. With only a rudimentary knowledge of magic and an almanac, one can utilize appropriate lunar energy for the desired result. I have dozens of books on the craft, but this ranks in the top 3 along with her concise Grimoire for the Green Witch. Thank you, Ann.Update 3 months later.Ok the spell worked, but marginally, and it was a big one. I was instructed to do a spell out of a book, for once! ( I write my own). Her work does not rhyme. This may not be a problem if you work mostly with the elementals, but it is a problem if you work with the deities. My recommendation is to take her rituals and make them rhyme. Still love the book. I am trained in high ceremonial magic and it was easy to adapt it and rachet the correspondences way up with the astrology already done.

Going first where others only talk about doing. Ann Moura keeps delivering the punches and considerable knowledge with this later book in her encyclopedic range of data. No seeker of the esoteric, occult or just plain good old green witchery should be without this book along with her others in their library collection. One can never be well read enough. I am truly grateful for this elder's compendium of knowledge and in her willingness to share with others as some of us walk a solitary path out of necessity.

I ordered several books this week. A few I wished I did not order after I got them. But this is one I am very glad that I did order.

I absolutely love all books by this author! The price and the layout of this book is simply amazing!

I started reading this book only to find out in the introduction that this book is more for advanced practitioners of the craft. I am building my library of Wicca/Witchcraft materials and probably could have waited until later to purchase the book. However, the book has a wealth of information that when I am ready to delve into Lunar Magic , this will be an excellent teaching tool.

I love this book! It gives good detail about moon cycles, and moon spells.

Quite a good reference, Aoumiel does such a great job with the Mansions. This book is not for the novice as you will need to be fairly advanced in the craft to follow but it is well worth the time if you are.Blessed Be....

Je cherchais une autre façon que celle " théurgique " d'aborder la magie Lunaire.En effet, je possède l'excellent ouvrage de Hiérosolis sur la magie des 28 anges lunaires, que j'ai testé et qui est vraiment génial pour ceux qui n'ont pas de réticences à s'attaquer à ce type de magie.Avec l'ouvrage d'Ann Moura, dont j'ai beaucoup apprécié " Sa magie verte ", je souhaitais emprunter ce chemin différemment. Pour bien intégrer ce que dit l'auteur et bien comprendre la marche à suivre du livre, il est important de tout lire et dans l'ordre. Il suffit de perdre le fil sur un détail, pour rendre confus une interprétation surtout lorsqu'on est pas un habitué de la pratique wiccan qui diffère quelque peu de la pratique théurgique. Ce qui est intéressant néanmoins c'est que l'auteur reprends également de nombreux symboles apparaissant dans quelques grimoires connus, comme celui d'Agrippa avec ses 4 tomes " La philosophie occulte ou la magie " ...Autant de symboles que l'on retrouve aussi en théurgie...J'ai trouvé l'approche de l'auteur intéressante et moderne dans sa perception de cette magie et je vais y piocher pas mal d'idées. Je suis bilingue anglais donc la lecture ne fut pas une contrainte pour moi mais je regrette qu'il n'y ait pas une traduction française qui faciliterait la compréhension de quelques termes plus techniques...Affaire à suivre...
