Caterpillar H2O Defender Water Resistant Work Pants for Men with Reinforced Knees, Bellowed Cargo Pocket and Tool Bags

I work in telecom and have tried every pair of pants known to man. All of my Carhart pants fit well, but all end up tearing the fabric in the same spot after less than 6 months or so. So far, these pants have held up much better, and are very easy to keep clean. These pants are incredibly comfortable! They don’t bind in the crotch at all and the fabric is both cool in warm weather, but warm in cold weather but very lightweight. The best thing I can say is you don’t feel them while climbing, kneeling and such like I always did with others. I also really like the grippers around the waistband as it really does help keep your shirt tucked in. The built in tool pouches seemed kind of gimmicky, but after using them, they are very convenient, and seem to hold up well to screws and other items. The knee pad pockets are a wonderful for those of us getting older and kneeling on herd surfaces. You don’t even need the fancy knee pads, I just cut some foam pads I had to fit and they work great.Will definitely be getting another pair.

These pants are great. Very comfortable, they don't fall down, they are LONG, and they have a ton of storage in very useable places. I've only had them a month or so, but the durability seems great.One of my complaints with other work pants was always storage location. Sometimes the pockets are just too high up to be easily used. That is not the case with these. The phone pocket is in a great location and the clip on tool bags are so handy. When I'm done working, I can just unclip them and set them aside for the next day.Finally, it's awesome they make these in 36 length. Other brands stop at 34 or even 32. I'm 6'3, so getting the knee pads in the right place and keeping my socks covered when I bend down is critical.Highly recommend (even if the price is tough to swallow. buy once cry once I guess.

First of all, saller is great, I found couple of discounts cards inside the package,good idea! I like it!Pants is wonderful, quality, and how is filling is great, strongly recommend for techs 10 of 10.

But not as sturdy as I was hoping.I work security at a railyard. Lots of gravel and lots of gray mud when it rains.The gray mud comes out in the wash great, but the pants themselves, they just feel like they could have been made better. They are touted as construction/fireman's pants, but if so, why would they make the material so thin?Moreover, wash only in cold water with mild detergent and dry on low? Does that sound like the instructions for caring for a sturdy pair of pants to anyone else? But that is what it says on the wash-instructions tag.They look nice, they wash out nice, but for a work pant, they leave very much to be desired.

4th pair of these pants. Bought solely for the knee pad pockets. Run true to size with a little give for when you've had a little too much pie... No idea why they put the hammer loop on the left hand side though; PITA when you're right handed. Velcro on pockets wears out right about the same time as the pants. Interior pockets wears out fast when you're constantly hooking and unhooking your tape measure on it. All in all, good pants with knee pad pockets which are VERY tough; they never seem to wear out, unlike the pants themselves which are OK when it comes to durability.If you kneel down a lot while working, get a pair of pants with the knee pad pockets in them and you'll never go back to strap on knee pads again. No pinching of the back of the knees, sweaty knees, sliding down your legs, not having them on when you need them, all of that is for the birds when you have these kind of pants.

Tough well made work pants. I like how the inside pockets can be put on the inside if not being used and it's reinforced in all the right areas. Lots of pockets but doesn't go overboard with them. They're not too heavy either. Very happy.

The waist fits well and I like the light material and the fabric seems durable. I very much dislike the leg design. They are way too long, the knee pad pockets are on my shins and I walk on the cuffs. I’m 6 foot tall and typically wear 34 length pants I ordered 32 and there still too long. The leg pockets need to be higher as well, as I tend to hit items in them on my knees when I walk.

Wow, After years of trying to force down the Carhartt Kool-aid, these pants offer an easy out and I'll never look back. I cant yet speak for long term durability as I've only worn them for a week now but they're off to a great start. Range of motion is incredible and they're very breathable. One of the most impressive details is the way they cut and affixed the back pockets which allow the pocket itself to flex outward, this way when you're back pockets are occupied with anything and you bend over it doesn't make your pants fall down, limit your mobility, squeeze your hips and crotch, or feel like your waist has grown an entire inch. I cut also cut come pieces out of an old sleeping pad to use as knee pad inserts for the optional knee pad zone on the knees which is still a pleasant surprise everything I'm kneeling on hard surfaces! I work 2-3 days a week at a small mechanic/fabrication shop and as a carpenter to actually make ends meet. I would say I demand a lot from my work clothes and finally feel like I found something that meets my needs of excellent range of motion and durability. Thanks Caterpillar!

Son muy buenos pantalones para el trabajo pesado, son utiles porque tienen protección en las rodillas, son impermeables, cómodos y muy ligeros.Lo mejor para la mecánica automotriz.

Seems durable but kinda hurts spending more and showing up with a price tag that’s lower

Ist schon die zweite Hose dieses Modells (die erste habe ich mir mit Bitumen unrettbar versaut) und ich bin restlos zufrieden. Sitzt bei mir super, ist äußerst stabil und gut verarbeitet. Die einknöpfbaren Materialtaschen sind bei Bedarf sehr hilfreich, ansonsten werden sie halt abgeknöpft damit sie nicht nerven. Alles in allem eine durchdachte äußerst robuste Arbeitshose. Nicht billig, aber preiswert - klare Kaufempfehlung!
