Much more room in small shower stall. I paired the curved rod with a good fabric shower curtain. The combination of more space and no curtain billowing made my showers much more relaxing. I used the no drilling mounting options and it is quite sturdy after a month of use.

We have a very small guest room shower cubicle so I was looking for cheap ways to expand the elbow room, and I wanted a pressure fit, expanding rod, rather that permanent screws to the wall.This particular curved rail was about the only option I could find that would fit the narrow space, and it was a very good price. It's quite easy to install, sturdy, good looking, and it definitely did add a few inches to the space inside the shower curtain. Downside - The end pieces which hold either end of the rod in place on the wall seemed to be a bit big & clumsy looking, and the rubbery pads that are supposed to cling to the wall didn't really work all that well on our particularly smooth, shiny walls. It was too easy to make them slip down the walls.I think adding a blob of silicone to the pads before putting them into position would probably work better. However, I don't know that for a fact because we decided to go a different route, and returned the rod.

So there is no tension with this rod. Only way to get it installed was the permanent way. It looks ok and works fine after that. But if you planned on just uses tension, not happening
