I’ve had this smoke machine a few months now. I own a small automotive repair shop and use it a few times a week. I was skeptical that a smoke machine at this price point would hold up in my shop but it has honestly worked flawlessly. It is easy to operate and comes with a good selection of accessories. I highly recommend for the dyi or professional. Awesome tool to have in the garage.

This review is for the BELEY Smoke Machine Automotive EVAP Leak Detector. In the box you get the machine itself, battery cables for powering it, a hanger for the hood mount, various tubing and plugs, and a blow up rubber ball for the intake. The one thing this does not come with is mineral oil. In order to use this machine right away you will need to purchase a bottle of oil for it.Using the machine. You load it with oil in the hot chamber. Get it set up in your engine bay hanging from your hood with the metal hook. Plug in the power wires plus the hoses for the smoke and you are ready to go. Make sure you get the seal in the intake and then begin smoking. Look for any places the smoke makes its way out of somewhere and you will find your leaks. There are some dials on the front of the machine to control air and smoke flow, you will need to change these to get the perfect setting.The coolest part of this thing to me is the blow up ball for the intake. This is such a neat idea. You place this in your intake and inflate it and it will create a perfect seal so no smoke can get out.Overall this machine was easy to use and did not get too hot. I will continue using it at home when I need to detect leaks in cars I own, it is a very valuable tool and well worth having. I can only recommend this.

This is a nice smoke machine. It has a good feel to it, feels well made. The oil level gauge and air flow meter are nice to have, I like being able to see how much oil I have left. Smoke machine heats up fast and produces a lot of smoke. I have experienced no over heating issues with this unit. I have tested others that tended to over heat. I like this smoke machine and I would buy it again. 5 STARS

The media could not be loaded. Product performed as intended. Did a quick setup using a vac hose connected to unit. Pour in the correct amount of baby oil in the reservoir and then switch the power on. Smoke is produced in seconds. I will use this to find a leak in the gas fill column. I can smell gas fumes after fillup and way after things have settled down.

I used this smoke machine to find a vacuum leak on a 97 bronco with the 5.0L. Worked like a charm. I was able to easily find the leak in the manifold gasket and complete the repair. I would highly recommend it.

I like how easy this is to use and I would use baby oil not mineral oil. The mineral oil stinks as where baby oil does not. Very easy to use and smokes very well.

Das Gehäuse stabil. Das mitgelieferte Zubehör ist hochwertig.In die obere Öffnung kommen etwa 20ml Nativesöl. Es gibt ein Schauglas, damit man es nicht überfüllt. Das haben wenig andere Geräte. Es gibt viele Details an denen man merkt das dieses Gerät vom Profi für Profis gebaut wurde.Ich konnte es auch direkt testen und muss sagen das der rauch nach etwa 5 Minuten Laufzeit seine volle Dichte erreicht. Auch die defekte an der (Ansaugbrücke des Fahrzeugs) waren direkt sichtbar. Ohne das Gerät wäre der Aufwand in der Fehlersuche deutlich hör gewesen.Fazit: Leider ist kein Öl im Lieferumfang zum gleich testen. Der Preis ist meines achtens viel zu teuer. Des Wegen vergebe ich hier 4 von 5 Sterne.

Wie funktioniert es?Das Gerät verwandelt ausgewähltes Öl in Rauch. Diesen lässt man dann ins das zu prüfende System. Der Rauch quillt dann aus dem Leck.Betrieben wird das Gerät durch ein Anklemmen an die Autobatterie, was es sehr praktisch macht, da man nicht zwingend in der Nähe von "Strom" sein muss.Dabei ist alles, was auf dem Foto auch abgebildet war.Zur Verarbeitung: Hier habe ich einen Punkt abgezogen, doch auf nur auf Grund von optischen Gründen. Die Kunststoffbeschichtung vorne war nicht sauber verklebt und es haben sich kleine Luftblasen gebildet.
