Absolutely perfect!
I have burned my fingers over the years while ironing and when I saw this item I immediately had to purchase and I am so glad I did. This item allows me to hold down seams close to the iron and not fear getting burned. The material it is made of is extremely comfortable and not slippery so it stays firmly in your hand. This is absolutely perfect for anyone who does a lot of ironing, whether for crafting or just daily living.

Very helpful tool for pressing
I've been sewing for 40 years and I wish I had bought this item sooner. I find the size perfect for ironing seams open, the tip is flexible so it's easy to hold fabric down close to the iron. For no-iron pressing, you don't "slide" it across the fabric, instead you roll it on the fabric or seam. It has a rubber type texture that is easy to grip. Works great.

Another great Clover ironing aide with lots of other uses
Well, I read the reviews before purchasing the Iron Finger, and they were right-it's huge! It does help for; ironing a 1/4" folded back piece of small fabric to hide a raw edge, holding fabric securely in place when ironing small areas, making crisp corners. It definitely helps in preventing the iron from scorching your fingers when you're ironing very small pieces of fabric. I haven't used it as a seam roll for opening seams but can see it's utility in that situation. I'm sure there are any number of uses I haven't even thought of for this product. I do wish it was a bit smaller, and maybe a bit lighter. But all in all another great Clover ironing aide.

Who ever heard of silicone making things flatter!?!
Ever feel like you need an extra hand? This is it! You have no idea how many jobs this thing can do until it's on your sewing table. You might even make up more uses for it! This is a newfangled broom handle. It's not tiny like it looks in the picture, it is actually the size of a sawed off broom handle. It's number one job is to save your fingers from being scorched by your iron.Don't want to heat up the iron to quickly flatten seams on an economy block? Use this like a rolling pin, and you'll have the rest of the corners sewn on in less time than it takes to heat the iron.Having trouble holding that butterfly seam open to iron and thinking about just pressing it to the side instead even though your seam will be too bulky? Iron Finger to the rescue!I don't have time to list all the things it can do, so I'll stop there. I must get back to my quilting. Just get one, you will love it even if you only pick it up to beat your sewing machine when it refuses to do anything but tangle and break your thread. It's made by Clover -- that says it all. There is nothing they make that you don't need! You might even consider replacing one or both of your hands with this, it is that awesome.

Get this stick!
This stick is great. Helps with edges and place or space marking. Sometimes it’s the little things in sewing tools that can make such a difference along the way....and prevent you from having a tantrum like fit and packing everything away another UFO (un-finished object) for the books.... not that crafters ever give up. This tool is a great addition to your arsenal of sewing and crafty thingimabobs.

Okay, but More Specialized Pressing Tools are Better
It's thicker than I was expecting, which makes it awkward to hold when using it to hold the fabric away from the iron. It works reasonably well for finger-pressing, but not better than my fingers or the bamboo corner tool I've used in the past. It's pretty good for seams, but a wooden steam stick or seam roll would be better.Sometimes multi-use tools don't do any one task well.

Just what I needed.
When turning material that doesn't have room to press seam open, this item works perfect....and without burning your fingers. I couldn't tell you how many face masks I've made with ties for around the back of head. That way they can be worn has a head band and pulled down when needed as a mask. (Or draped around the neck.) The point being you will always have your mask. Anyway, the hardest part was pressing that darn seam and Clover Iron Finger sure helped.

Saves the finger
I have always used my finger to go in front of my iron to press seems. I can’t count the times I burned my finger s. One might think keep them out of the way but many times it is the cloth is still hot. I hesitate to buy this iron finger. Thinking it was just a want type tool. But I am here to tell you it is a must have. Not only saves from burns also aids in laying the seams flat making, ironing open seams easier. Well worth the money.

Fantastic!
I used this to open seams as my poor fingers would get singed by the steam of the iron and it works just as advertised. It's so easy to use and with the silicone it's easy to hold. I didn't iron seams on the tool yet, but by the size and shape of it, I'm sure it would do a fantastic job.
