I'm so sorry for the lengthy delay pertaining to the review of this fantastic 5 tone hand chime! It really does deserve all the praise that can be given via an online review. (And so does Nate O., who created it with his own hands!) Every aspect of this instrument (heck, I would even go as far as to call it a work of art!) is spot on. It arrived entirely intact, without any scratches, chips, or dents. I find this rather surprising, as I usually have awful luck with my deliveries being tossed about either in transit or poor handling at some point throughout the pipeline. All pieces were carefully wrapped with what appears to be recyclable brown paper, and the whole lot came packaged in a sturdy box with a label on the top. The label had both the item name and an image of the item. It looks quite professional and, in my opinion, would be able to be gifted as-is, without any need for the addition of wrapping paper. Well done, y'all! The instrument itself is gorgeous. The wood is attractive and well finished without any rough spots or cracks. The rods are also well made, and secured evenly to the wood with some sort of elasticized cording. Nothing is out of place and no adjustments are necessary, other than a careful cutting of the attached tag that designates the manufacturer. (Which in my case was Nate. ...I hope you don't mind my forward praise, haha, but you have been gifted a great talent! 🙂) Removal of said tag is not difficult providing one uses a small pair of sharp scissors and has a decent attention span. (Please, no giant kitchen scissors or razors... you'll ruin the poor thing!) The mallet seems adequate as well, but I prefer to use my own because it has sentimental value. I will mention, though, that my young son ran off with the included mallet and it makes his cheap toy xylophone sound like something of quality. (Sorry!) Anyways, each tone sounds lovely, and I can pick up a faint overtone on the longest rod that I love. Now, I do not recommend attempting to sound every tone at once. This will give off an unpleasant dissonance. However, there are a few fine combinations that can be achieved if one were to play two or three tones in rapid succession. I also enjoy just messing around in an improv style, sounding one at a time to see if I can get a nice melody going. As for whether each tone is accurately tuned, I cannot say. I do not have perfect pitch, not do I own any special equipment to compare the frequencies, but it sounds great to me. I wanted to include a photo, but unfortunately the Amazon app is being finicky at the moment. Perhaps I will be able to amend this sometime in the future. In summary, this is a product that I whole-heartedly recommend both for meditation purposes, and also to those who simply want a fine instrument to fiddle around with. P.S. No, I do not know any of the staff, nor was I compensated to write this review. I just really love this set and I'm kinda weird, okay? 🙃

This chime is handmade the packaging was very good and safe on the back shows pictures of who made it and how mine was by Nat. Came tight in the box the sound is very sweet and soft which is what you want anyways hand stamped on it by tree works,easy to use value for your money yes, good if you have little ones to quite them and let them know hey pay attention, good for a night time when reading a book or ready to calm you before you close your eyes . It’s actually a pretty instrument size is easy in your hands if you have arthritis very light weight.It has a nice rope like to hang it comes with the stick with the ball at the end to tap it with.

Well made, and good tone. My only wish would be a slot to store the mallet. Otherwise it’s pretty perfect.

Ok I love this! Excellent quality! And the sound is amazing! I use it to calm my brain when I can't stop thinking about a million things at once! (Dr. Recommended) and it works! Very well made! Would definitely recommend!

Well, the positive things about this product our that they chose really nice wood to lay the chimes and the chimes are tied well to the wood. There is a rope that you can hang these chimes to a peg and the mallet fits in the groove where the chime resonates. It is very handy and fits in my hand so that I can use it with ease. my set of chimes are tuned to an octave where the first chime is a G and the third chime is a G. The chime in between is tuned two a D. I am blind so I cannot tell you how nice this looks but I can tell by how the product feels that it is Wellmade. If there is one negative to this particular product, it is that the second and third chimes resonate very well and last very long. The lowest chime fades away very quickly and does not match the other two. For that, which is the essential purpose of this product, I rate it barely 4 on a scale of 1 to 5. If you are using this in a class as an attention grabber, then it is fine. If you are using this for meditational purposes, judging from the product I received, I would not purchase this item.

Made in the USA. Nice! The tonal quality is not as deep as some chimes I’ve played but the resonance lasts nicely and it really is a beautiful piece. The black oak is gorgeous and the craftsmanship is superb. If you are looking for some chimes that aren’t going to cost an arm and a leg and feel nice and relaxing while being played you can’t go wrong with this. I have a set of 7 quartz crystal singing bowls that I adore but sometimes I just don’t feel like setting them up but just want to have a mini “sound bath” and listen and feel the vibrations and resonances of chimes before or after I give myself a Reiki treatment or have meditation time. These chimes are very relaxing.

I bought this chime to use in my classroom as a soft signal to indicate the end of a timed writing session, or to use to start/end class challenges. The wood is beautiful with secure chimes. The chimes have a pleasant sound and continue vibrating after being struck with the mallet (included) depending on the force of the strike. My students enjoyed testing it, as well. I like that this is made in the U.S. rather than being imported, and that it is small enough to be easily transported. I have no complaints about this chime!

It's pretty and well-made, doesn't look or feel cheap, but it is very quiet. Didn't really work for my purposes but I do like it.

Este pequeño instrumento musical tiene un aspecto muy estético y su sonido es realmente como el de una campana, muy agradable, supongo que por eso lo recomiendan para meditar. El que me llego resuena a una frecuencia de 2689 Hz (E7) y su hechura es de primera. Excelente!

No se nada de música ni tonos pero para mi suena divino. Lo uso en mis clases de yoga y meditaciones

Perfect chime, worth paying a little more for this as its premium quality. Only improvement would be if it could come with a travel bag for protection.
