Ribena Original Blackcurrant Drink, 850 ml Bottles (Pack of 4)

We grew up drinking Ribena, so this blackcurrant cordial is still a favorite in our house.We enjoy it hot mixed with water, or cold with either still or sparkling water. The flavor is just as we remember it.The four-pack arrived the next day, well packaged and with a long use-by date. With four bottles included, this should easily last us a couple of months.It can be difficult to find in American stores, so this is a convenient way to stock up, especially if you already know and enjoy Ribena.

Delicious as always. A good alternative to fizzy pop in summer and a pleasant drink with hot water.

Purchased four bottles of these 850 ml Ribena Blackcurrant concentrated drink mix. Have been using since growing up in England and just love the flavor. Good deal. I mix with one part Ribena and 2 or 3 of water depending upon preference.

This would probably be an excellent blackcurrant drink except that in addition to regular sugar, it also has artificial sweeteners. False advertising on the label you can see on the bottle (if you zoom) in the Amazon listing says "No artificial colours, flavours, or sweeteners". In addition, the Amazon listing does not show any artificial sweeteners.The actual bottle received does not have this same label, but says "No artificial flavours or colours" [British spelling]--note the absence of sweeteners in that. The full list of ingredients stated on the bottle includes "Acesulfame K and Sucralose". Both of these are artificial sweeteners--the latter is known as Splenda.I would never have purchased this as I avoid artificial sweeteners but also I hate the horrible aftertaste. I think there is a version of Ribena which only has real sugar as its sweetener, but is apparently only available in the UK. I think Amazon should offer this to its US customers.

Remembered taking this as a child ages & ages ago. So when I casually type in Ribena, I was pleasantly surprised that it's still around. It's high in Vite C from the blackcurrants used in the manufacturing process (co. established since 1938) Hopefully the formula never changes. To me, it still tastes the same. Not sweet nor sour - just right.

It appears there are different types of Ribena and some contain artificial sweeteners. The seller doesn't seem to have the product I really wanted, but he was very kind in trying to make it right.
