TEKTON 34014 10-Inch Diagonal Cutting Pliers

I love these dikes. Let's just start there. They are a great product, they're light, sturdy, ergonomic, and function flawlessly. I'm an apprentice electrician, and my tools see a ton of use. I needed to get all of the tools on my required tool list, and when I first started I wasn't making very much money. So I did some research and landed on Tekton. I've never been happier with told I've purchased! As you can see from the pic, I've got more Tekton than just these cutters. The large, high leverage linesman pliers are my favorite too I've ever owned. My boss wanted me to cut 50 SS bolts and handed me his "fancy" high-hardness Klein dikes. They would barely cut bolt one. I lent my dikes to my toolie and I used the linesmans. Between the two of us we tore through the bolts in 4 minutes. He was impressed, but I just knew that's what I could expect from my Tekton Tools. I still need a bunch of stuff, and I have some older stuff that needs to be replaced. But whatever I buy, if Tekton makes it, that's where I'll get it! Thanks for making a fantastic product that my sparky crew and I can put our faith in when we're on the job!

Great tool for the price. These are not the USA made cutters. But look like good quality. Time will tell.

This tool does what it us supposed to do. It works well and it will last me a long time.

Nice quality quickly delivered. Bought a total of four of these for a period of intense activity removing a very large radio transmitter and installing a replacement. Wore out one pair the first day through incredibly heavy use. Probably could have been sharpened but there was no time for that. Other three holding up well - probably will last many years. If you're a heavy user consider buying two and you'll still be ahead of buying one far more expensive pair to get a little longer useful life. Next time I take on a project like the one just ended I'll buy two pair only.....though the 3 I have left would probably do all that in need of doing.

Just started a apprenticeship and needed few tools. This is a well made easy to use or keep handy in pocket or utility bag.

I have used Snap on for years(45+) but I decided to give Tekton a try. I have not been disappointed. They are working very well.

Not smooth nor sharp wire cutter! Spend the extra money- it will be worth it to forestall frustration and much chopping!

Awesome side cutters. I'm really impressed with them. The quality is great. The grip is good too. Tekton's warranty is top notch.

These diagonal cutting pliers are great for use when cutting braided steel cable as all other tools I used were too weak. The galvanised steel wire is easily cut through and the handles provide great grip and a surprising amount of pressure which is placed on the wire to cut it. The cuts were clean and very easy to do. They are also quick which is why I bought this pair. The blades are also sharp which allows the cut to be clean and effortless without blunting or damaging the blade or metalwork. (Placing wire closer to the back of the blade increases cutting power) Overall these are a great purchase for people working with metal, wires or other similar materials.

Good value and sharp cutters.

These are great, they are big (long handles) so effort less to use. Big spilt pin cutting woes are a thing of the past. 5 stars as they are a real bargain at the price. In my opinion much better than the big name van brands. And of course a fraction of the price.

Very well made. The cutter is really sharp and can get through a lot of different material. As for the price, it's worth it as even if you can find some at cheaper price they don't work as well as this one. A+

Good quality pliers, very sturdy. Considering the low price this is a very good choice.
