Wasn’t sure what to expect from these. But really tasty and definitely fill a gap snack wise. Hope there are more flavours as will definitely be ordering more.

Flavour was completely lacking and chickpeas were so bland - they had neither the tang of mango nor the spice of piri. To make it worse, the coating made them very dry. So disappointed as I really was looking forward to trying them. The only positive was that the packaging was colourful. Wouldn’t buy again or recommend.

These chickpea snacks are delicious, they are just died (fried) chickpeas, coated in a spicy choosing. packed full of flavour. I was disappointed however, that the spiced coating contains wheat so these aren't gluten-free. Not an issue for me personally but I couldn't share them with some of my family due to this. They aren't very spicy, they just have a nice savoury salty curry-powder flavour.The bags are quite small but the portion sizes are actually great for me as they are quite filling and great for dieting.

I first tried these chip shop chickpeas as part of a selection pack of different flavours, and these didn’t end up being my favourite. That was mainly because some of the other flavours, like the beef brisket and pulled pork beans, were more unusual and felt a bit more special, where the chip shop curry flavour here feels like the same flavour you can get from a few different crisp and snack brands. They also seemed just a touch unnecessarily spicy, where I tend to prefer my curries at least as sweet as they are spicy, and preferably more.Having tried these on their own though, they are definitely growing on me as I have more of them. The puffed chickpeas feel a little childish as a snack, as they resemble the puffed snacks my kids might get fed at a birthday party. But for snacking, it’s very easy to pick up two or three (or four) at a time between your fingers, to get a really satisfying mouthful of crunch out of them.There’s an awful lot of flavour powder dust involved, and if you don’t ‘shake me to wake me’ as the packet suggests, or even if you do, there’s a lot of salty dust that gets on your fingers and potentially all over your keyboard too. So they’re a little messier than some snacks, but that’s a direct result of the generous amount of flavour that’s been applied.Even though at a pound a pack they aren’t the cheapest of options, and even though given the choice I’d buy different flavours from the Noisy Snacks brand before I came back to this one, the extent to which I’ve been enjoying these chickpeas and munching my way through them means it wouldn’t feel right giving them anything other than five stars.

I bought these for the low calories and high protein but i am gluten free, while I was eating my first pack I thought i would double check the ingredients, the chickpeas are gf but the powder coating isn't, I am absolutely gutted as they are nice, thankfully my kids like them, I really wish the ingredients were noted.
