Got these for my son to put in his metal cabinet. The colors are stunning and so realistic!

I have two sets of these - one of the standard set that comes with two extra silly-looking emoji magnets, and one of the upgraded set that doesn't.The standard set comes with that flexible magnet material that is too weak to hold a piece of paper when you slam the fridge, even though the magnet covers the whole back of the face plate.The upgraded set has tiny but very powerful solid magnets glued to the back. These ones actually stay on the fridge door and can hold a greeting card no problem.Either way they look beautiful, but you want the upgrade that doesn't come with the 2 extra gimmick magnets, trust me.

I use these magnets to hang things on my refrigerator that my son makes; so really I had two requirements that they needed to meet: look nice, and be stronger than the paper. Some of my other magnets would slide down with the paper, or just look boring.Strength - these are strong, and a little bigger than a quarter. One magnet will easily hold up a few sheets of paper.Looks - they are round with a little clear dome that has a picture of the planet encased. Now, my son recently got into planets by reading the Doctor Seuss planets book - so these were perfect; except, there are 14 magnets and only 8 planets (9 if you are a Pluto fan). These magnets dont have the names on them, so while figuring out earth and mars may come easy - it gets a little more difficult after that. For example, Saturn does not have rings - how could they leave that out.Conclusion: They are worth getting if you are into the planets, but will take a little research on google to figure out what all the planets are.

I think these magnets are great. They aren't the strongest in the world, but they're strong enough for basic uses. Plus I like to use them to teach my young daughter about the planets.For those wondering about the planets included, I just spent some time researching NASA images so I could label mine, and here is what I found. Oh, and yes, my magnets match those in the picture almost exactly, only 2 of them differ. I have a Mercury which isn't shown in the image, and I believe I have Neptune instead of Uranus, which is the blue one shown (I think, they look pretty similar). Also, since receiving them one of my 12 have gone missing. I believe it was a Jupiter since I remember my set coming with 2 that had a red spot and there doesn't appear to be a similar red spot on any other planetary body.Mercury (1)Venus (1)Earth (1), Moon (2)Mars (2)Jupiter (1), IO (1) (Jupiter Moon)Neptune (1)Pluto (1)That said, I really do wish these had the names on back. I like that there was a Jupiter moon thrown in, but it would be better if there was one of each planet and no duplicates. Then there could have been a couple more cool extras. Granted, the duplicates weren't the same image, but that made it even harder for me to identify them because I thought once I had Mars or the moon identified, this other different looking one couldn't be that.

Nice packaging. Good clarity with the magnet photos. Haven't tried them as they will be a gift. Will grab a few more for Christmas.

They look cool but they break very easily when you drop it! Wish they were more durable!

Our set came with 3 jupiters. The planets look very nice but wished that they didn’t give 3 color variations of Jupiter and have us make believe they are other planets.

Love these. They're colorful, fun, and do the job. I bought them to hold receipts or postcards/cards onto the front of my fridge. They're a bit weak for cards, because cards are typically equivalent to two pieces of thick paper folded over, but they held up the corners of the cards, so they kind of hang a bit on the fridge. As for postcards, they're great, that's just one sheet of card stock paper. Receipts, no problem. I bought two sets.

Great design and fun to look at. Just wish they were a bit stronger magnets. However, one magnet can hold up 3 pieces of paper which should be good for most people. Definitely satisfied.

Magnets are underwhelming - easily fall off metal fridge, also cracked and chipped on first fall.
