Reliable 11-in-1 hub for desktop mode and seamless connectivity
07/11/26: I picked up this Anker 11-in-1 USB-C hub primarily to tap into the new desktop mode feature available on the Pixel 10 series, and it has handled the task flawlessly. Setting it up is as straightforward as it gets—plugging it into the phone and connecting a monitor via HDMI established a clean, instant connection with absolutely no issues, flickering, or lag. In terms of functionality, it works beautifully for turning a mobile device into a workstation, delivering an experience very similar to Samsung’s DeX mode. Beyond the display output, the value for money spent is excellent considering the sheer variety of ports available, which leaves plenty of room for a mouse, keyboard, and external storage. The hub feels sturdy and well-built, giving me confidence in its long-term durability. It is a highly capable and reliable docking option for anyone looking to maximize their device's productivity features.

Another good Anker product
Works beautifully. Compact and does not take up a lot of deskspace. Lots of ports. Recommended as are a lot of Anker branded products I have used in the past.

Great Docking Hub! (Anker 565 USB-C Hub)
Laptop tested on: Lenovo Legion 7 16ACHg6 Operating System: Windows 11 This is a quality docking hub. Feels sturdy and the materials overall don't look cheap or feel flimsy. Provides Display Port, HDMI, 10/100/1000 Ethernet port, 3x USB-A, 1x USB-C, 3.5mm Jack for audio output, Micro SD/SD card ports, and an additional USB-C PD (100W) port for charging simultaneously. I have Gigabit internet connection which I was able to confirm that it's able to pull almost 950 Mbps over the Ethernet port. For video connectivity I tested both Display Port and HDMI connectivity. Verified that I was able to get 2560x1440p at 165hz (DP) and 144hz (HDMI). The Nvidia control panel shows g-sync ability when I checked with DP cable connected and I haven't noticed any weird issues when it comes to VRR. The 3.5mm jack works as intended. Sound quality doesn't seem to be impacted, though it does appear it has lost some gain once the sound is pushed through the hub as its not quite as loud as it is connected directly to the laptop. The other USB ports both A and C have been tested and verified to work. I have not tested charging with PD 100w connectivity with it yet, as it would be mostly fruitless since my laptop really needs the included 300w power supply to reach full power. I have tested the SD card slot and it reads/writes with no problems. I have not tested the Micro SD card slot but assume it works as intended. Overall I am pleased with this USB-C docking hub from Anker. It works for all my use cases and I haven't experienced any weird issues with USB devices dropping, video signal drops, etc.

Great hub but has one annoying quirk
I've tried a few USB-C hubs over the years and this Anker 565 11-in-1 is the best one I've used, the sheer number of ports it gives you is impressive and everything is laid out in a way that makes sense so you're not constantly reaching around the back trying to figure out which port is which. Data transfer speeds are fast, the Ethernet works flawlessly, and being able to pass through 85W of charging to my laptop while everything else is plugged in is something I didn't realize I needed until I had it. The dual monitor support works great for Windows which is what I'm running and having all 11 ports available from a single cable connection to my laptop has genuinely cleaned up my desk setup a lot. The only thing that keeps this from being a five star review is that my main monitor will randomly disconnect and then reconnect about 10 seconds later, it doesn't happen constantly but often enough that its noticeable and a little annoying when you're in the middle of something. I haven't seen any Anker firmware updates so I'm not sure if it's me or Anker. If they ever fix that I'd give it five stars without hesitation.

Upgrade to a better one. This one isn't great if you have FAST ethernet.
Anker contacted me after a 2 star review and offered me a full refund. I love this company so very dearly. They are very kind. --- (old review) --- Honestly, I typically love Anker products, yet while using this one, my ethernet constantly goes out. I always find anker products super reliable but i constantly have to unplug this one, let it cool down, then plug it back in to get my ethernet to work again. Yes, I've checked my modem and router and that's not the issue. I just wish it was a higher quality product designed for fast internet.

Good product, I suspect, if it works. (Also Marketing Needs Improvement)
UPDATE: Nope, it's just the hub. :( It's either defective or not a good product, which is unfortunate. The stutter issue has been resolved, but I can still not use the dock to push an image to my secondary monitor (1080p). I spent several hours this evening updating drivers for my Lenovo Thinkpad E15 Gen2 (AMD) without success. FYI: This laptop DOES support PD+DP through USB-C, something I confirmed before trying to go down the USB-C route in an attempt to replace my ancient Diamond USB-A dock. An image was never sent to my second monitor, whether connected via HDMI or DP through the hub. In all cases, the monitor IS recognized by Windows, so some information is being communicated, just not an image to the monitor. During every attempt, when the monitor was first plugged in, responsiveness in Windows would stutter, lag, and generally respond slowly to my KB+M inputs until, eventually, the laptop caught up and was OK. I am highly disappointed and am considering returning both products, but the USB-C dock is definitely returning. It would be nice, but I don't need a 100W charger. My hope of replacing my current USB-A dock is diminishing at the price point I was hoping for, so we shall see if it's up to the task of the new 2K monitor I have on the way and go from there. Original: Buyer be cautioned: The Anker 565 USB-C also needs power for itself, which is evident if you think about it, but it's not stated anywhere that I could find, and it may not dawn on you until things aren't working quite right. Lack of power could cause many issues I've read about in reviews. The issue: Mouse movement would stutter every 5-10 seconds. Though Windows recognized my HDMI monitor in Device Manager/Display settings, no image was sent to it through the Anker hub. Current theory: So, the manufacturer's 65W USB-C charger for my laptop cannot FULLY power the hub with one connected HDMI monitor, two USBs, and Ethernet through the USB-C hub. I did not test the two USB devices (Keyboard and headset) as there was little need once the stuttering began, which was immediate. I have an Anker Nano 100W arriving tomorrow, and I will update the review once I've re-tested. Suggestion: My ask to Anker would be to *estimate* the power draw of their dock and list it somewhere with many warnings, etc. If they wanted to go above and beyond and add averages for peripherals and the like, that would be amazing, but if not, I would understand, as I'm sure that information could become dated fast. A power warning would have prompted me to consider the power charging situation, and I may gone with one of their docks (About a $100 increase) instead. But now that I'm annoyed, I'll purchase a 100W charger that I can use for my work laptop and elsewhere as needed. :) They are still getting my money, but not as much. They make amazing products, but small details like this matter to me as a consumer.

Perfect, affordable solution for a second home-office setup
I work from home and occasionally like to office out of a different area of the house, but I didn't want to tear down my entire main rig just to move to another room. I picked this up as a secondary docking station for a more casual monitor setup, and it works perfectly for my needs. Setup & Performance: I have this hooked up to my work laptop and two monitors via HDMI. One thing to keep in mind: you’ll need to provide your own USB-C cable and power brick to juice it up. Just make sure you’re using a high-quality charging block to ensure the dock gets consistent power for all your peripherals. The Value: Compared to the price of a name-brand Dell docking station, the value here is incredible. While the more expensive docks might offer a few extra bells and whistles, this is exactly what I needed without the hefty price tag. Pros: Simple Setup: Very straightforward to get running. Dual Monitor Support: Handles two HDMI monitors with no issues. Compact: Great for a secondary or portable "mini" workstation. Bottom Line: If you’re looking for an easy, inexpensive way to run dual monitors from your laptop in another part of the house, this is the way to go. Great performance for the price!

dock is great, mostly
So, this dock is great, mostly. It does have plenty of IO and I don't have any problems with the form factor or portability. My laptop does not do PD through the USB-c port, but my steam deck does, and it seems to work fine for that, charging speed seems fast enough. The biggest issue I've had is that my Ethernet port on the dock seems to die if I do any high speed downloads (steam, torrents, etc.). It will work for a few minutes then stop, unplugging and re-plugging seems to reset it temporarily. I've also had problems with the audio jack being intermittent. Otherwise, it's been pretty stellar. I run my dual 1080 monitors off the dock and haven't had any issues there. TLDR: Good for 1080 dual monitors, had problems with Ethernet/audio.
