I’ve been using these about a month and I’m very happy with them. The install was very easy and it looks very sophisticated. I placed a string completely around the bottom of each rectangular (front, back, and both sides) using one string for each cabinet so I didn’t need to buy extra connectors or corners. Purchasing extra corners/connectors as one reviewer suggested wasn’t need. The string of lights is continuous. The directions show you how to go around the corners. The taped side was more than adequate to hold the lights. I did use heavy duty Velcro to attach the remote/motion sensor to the underside. I wanted access to the remote/switch so I could easily change settings if necessary. My cabinets have a bottom lip (not flush to cabinet face) so the lights and remote are not visible. Very nice and professional looking. I have cabinets on both sides of the range with microwave above range. There is a plug in the cabinet above the microwave. I drilled a few small holes; one in the bottom of cabinet where the lights are installed and another inside the back corner of the cabinet to plug. Easy Peasy. No hard wiring needed. My entire backsplash is tiled and I wasn’t going down the “hard wired” road. The cabinet on the other side sits next to the fridge so I simply drilled one hole through the bottom side of the cabinet (no need to go up through the cabinet) and plugged it in to the refrigerator plug. The only complaint, or improvement they should make has to do with the remote. I wanted motion detection all the time. If you don’t click the “M” on the remote TWICE it appears the motion detector doesn’t work. If you don’t click the “M” twice it won’t work during the day. That little piece of info (and very important if your installing/checking the lights) is buried in their instructions. It’s not with (in the section/paragraph) of the “how to use” the remote/switch/setting information. Like most people I skip “warning” info, and the blah blah stuff. Messing with that setting took longer than installing the friggin thing.

This LED strip is easy to install and works well. They are hidden in a small recess and light up my shadow boxes. It was a few dollars more than my second choice but far easier to install so well worth the $2!

Love, love, love this item. Most of the time when I’m going in and out of the bathroom, it’s just to grab something or go through the bathroom to my closet. None of these things require much light, and this light strip works very well for what I desired. I have a medicine cabinet that extends out beyond the wall, so I knew it would be easy just to string it around the entire cabinet, find a discreet place for the sensor, and plug it in. For the sides and the top, I pretty much just laid The strip across of those areas and since I don’t trust adhesive for long periods of time, I used very small Christmas light holders. It’s so nice that when I’m able to leave the bathroom door a jar, it senses me coming when I’m about 7 feet from the sensor. Very nice glow! It’s been up for over 4 months now.

This is a great package. The light level is adjustable and the timer and motion sensor are very functional. I am able to walk up to my coffee bar and have light and the timing function allows me to change the duration of lighting once it no longer senses motion. It has not turned off while I am making coffee and turns off after the set time when I walk away. I turned the sensor so it doesn’t come on when I walk down the hall. The adhesive is strong. I did clean the attachment sites well with windex and then used alcohol pads to ensure it was as clean as possible. After an hour, I attached the strips. I used a Command strip on the controller/sensor instead of the adhesive in the package since I attached it to the wall and didn’t want to damage the paint. The package comes with support pieces and several connectors which allow for cuts to the light strip to make corners. I didn’t use them because they were red and black and I didn’t want the color to draw attention. I just rounded the corners a bit and it isn’t noticeable with the light distribution. Install took 10 minutes. Definitely recommend.

It is well designed - has stay-on duration controls, brightness levels, daylight sensitivity, and is sensitive enough to motion. I liked them so much on one set of cabinets, that I bought this second set for using under the other cabinets

I have these lights set up around my whole interior of the house plus inside my garage. The house feels like a smart house without feeling as if we are wasting electricity when the rooms are not occupied. They have motion sensors so they are on while one is in the room moving and for a set time. The best thing for my family is having the entrance turns on when we are arriving with our hands full and it’s never dark if we approach the front door. The garage lights turn on when we walk in there so no more guessing how far things are before bumping since out garage is very dark day or night.

Bought this for under the counter in my kitchen I do wish they would give you the option of buying more sensors, because some of the kitchen cabinets are separated too much to run a cord they look really nice

Tested lights briefing (<5s) to be sure they would energize and they worked. Cut the strips at specified lines and inserted in plugs making sure current direction (+/-) was consistent across plugs. The light illuminated for a few seconds and then went out and would not re-light. I tried manually putting the strips together (again with proper polarity) and still no light. It seems that somehow the lights are burned out or shorted or something. Sorry to leave a negative review but this was a wasted purchase.
