I ordered these for a different usage than they are really intended for. If you have a ball pit at home for your kids, or say decided at a party you were hosting in a hotel that you should turn the Jacuzzi tub into a VIP ball pit lounge and serve alcohol, at some point you probably thought, "hey, I should really sterilize and wash these." Recommendations online say to lay them all out and spray them with bleach and water, which of course will take forever. For the record, washing a few at a time in a laundry tub and then laying them out on window screens to dry is not very efficient. Putting the balls in these bags allowed me to wash approximately 1200 at a time in my bathtub. I highly recommend anyone else who needs to sterilize their balls to do this. Pictures included for anyone who thinks I'm joking.

I bought these for carrying 20 Bender Balls (9" size) to and from the Barre classes I teach. They all fit, and I could probably squeeze 2 or 3 more in if I needed to. The mesh feels sturdy and durable, and is very lightweight. The handle is wide enough that it doesn't cut into my shoulder as I carry it. After class, I hang the whole thing in my shower and hose all of the balls off thru the mesh, and then leave it there to dry; this bag dries quickly!There is one important reason I took off a star: the plastic drawstring closure does not lock in place or resist sliding open in any way. This means that while I walk with the bag slung over my shoulder, the weight of the bag (which isn't actually that much - Bender Balls are quite light!) begins to work the drawstring back open through the plastic closure. Usually this means that by the time I get into class, the bag is half-open and balls begin to fall out when I lay the bag on the classroom floor. I have found the way to keep this from happening is I have to hold the drawstring in the same hand that is holding the strap over my shoulder. I just wish I didn't have to take that extra step because I have a lot that I have to carry in with me, and this is one more thing I have to think about.

I purchased this bag to store 3-inch balls for a children's ball pit . The bag works great to hold about 300 of the 3" sized balls and seems quite durable. I love the mesh that will allow the balls to dry out when I clean/sanitize them. I especially love the strap on the bag that allows me to sling it over my shoulder to carry it. What I don't like about this bag is the cord lock because it slips when I lift the bag by the strap, allowing the balls spill out all over the ground. I temporarily remedied this by tying a knot next to the cord lock to keep it from slipping, but that's a pain when it's time to open it again. Therefore, I ordered a stronger cord lock to replace the one that came with it. Hopefully, this will solve the problem and then it will be just right.
