Where other sharpeners destroyed them. I am actually back to buy another as I dropped this one when moving things. Hoping that my Faber Castel pencils do just as well with it. **Q: What size is the connector on the Ac adapter? I need to replace it because it broke. 5mm?** A: The power cord is inner 1.5mm and outer 3.5mm adapter. I put a pencil in the Afmat and to me it appears that you would roughly need 3 inches or more of your pencil left in order to sharpen it.
