PawHut 3 Tier Wooden Hamster Cage Gerbil Play Centre w/Sliding Tray Ramps

I was big fan of rotastak but sadly discontinued. I hated wired cages for hamsters and came across these. After alot of checking out and speaking to vets I got it. My hamster syrian yogi loves it, he can hide, burrow and explore, so much space.It was difficult to put together, but what is. Cleaning it out I have found my own way and it works.I would recommend this only for syrian hamsters as they get big, not suited for smaller.I'm pleased with his new home it feels more natural.

It came 6 days earlier than expected, which was great.The instructions to build it are awful. For the money I would have expected them to be clearer. I have had to modify some of it. One of the joints is poorly put together, I have fixed that.Haven't built the seesaws that came with it, the screws are to long for the wood, concerned that it could cause injury.It's massive, which is good, loads of floor space.

Exactly as described and in photos. Good size cage, for hamster. Came with a water bottle with stand, little plastic bowl and a plate. There were also 2 see-saws, some climbing slopes and the 2 shelves.I am not sure why they bother with the removable tray for cleaning, as to be honest with deep bedding in you would not want to pull it out. The fit would also be better if this was not there.I have also amended the front by putting it on upside down (needed some slight amending to this section, which was easlily done and took less than 10mins). This makes the opening part at the bottom go on top and open downwards, making access to the cage much easier and when cleaning with lid up and this down, have full access to reach down to bottom when changing parts of the bedding.The bottom part of the floor has a coating which is good.I didnt use one of the shelves also and just have the narrower one the bottom section and bedding right up to this.The clear parts at side and front make it great for seeing hamster (well thats when see her, as she is super cosy in there).I would recommend this cage for a hamster, as they need more room than pet shops would lead you to believe. I would though recommend alter as I have done, as makes cage so much better and easier to use.Also for me personally, I have had no issues to date with chewing the wood but she has lots of things in there to keep her occupied.

It is a great hamster cage but was far bigger than we anticipated.

Very bad cage for hamsters mine got through it within a week and I had to buy extra stuff to secure the cage before she could even go in it I'm very disappointed
