Short HDMI to DVI

Works as expected with my 1080p monitor's DVI-D cable. I used this adapter to convert the DVI-D cable to HDMI so that I can connect it to an HDMI switch. Works without a glitch. Have purchased other products (cables/adapters) from Cable Creation. So far, I'm happy with the quality of their products.

It works very well no problems when used nice build of the item overall. Should last a long time. Thanks to all!!

I ordered this for connecting SBC's (raspberry Pi, Odroid N2, etc.) to a DVI monitor I have and it's been 50/50 whether the monitor picks up the signal. I do have an older 1680x1050 monitor so maybe that is to blame. When it does work the picture is nice and clear.

I needed this to convert my old office TV to HDMI. This works perfectly. The cable is heavy and of high quality. I have it connected to a 15' extension cable and there is no loss of signal. Also, this is completely plug and play, and produces a terrific image quality on the TV. I'd get it again.

Hello, thank you for such a great product. I have an older monitor with the DV-I cord. I was worried I would have to purchase another monitor since I upgraded to Windows 11 on a new computer. This cable worked perfectly! It plugged into the monitor cord then into the HDMI input of the new computer and the display is awesome. I like the idea CableCreation has the cord as being bi-directional regarding the DV-I portion, since some of the DV-I ends have horizontal connectors while others have vertical connector. This cord eliminates the which is which, for it works with both. Thank you again. Keep up the great work.

The cable adapter was totally compatible with my setup, and allowed me to successfully run an Apple Cinema Display from a Windows laptop. You can view this cable adapter in the photo above where I have drawn a red indicator showing this black cable adapter. This adapter is needed to go from the Windows laptop HDMI port to the DVI input of an Apple "DVI to ADC" Model A1006. Once this connection and the standard USB connection are complete, the Apple DVI to ADC adapter sends the signals to the Apple Cinema Display. I don't have any other DVI applications with which to test the cable. It took weeks to get here, but I knew that prior to completing the purchase, and it arrived when promised.

I bought this HDMI to DVI adapter to connect my MacBook Pro's HDMI output to an older 22 inch Apple Cinema Screen which has a DVI input. The build quality is excellent, the cable thickness just right and not too flimsy. It worked perfectly with no latency issues when watching videos. The connectors appear to be gold plated. Star Tech makes excellent cable adapters. No regrets with this purchase. The adapter was a bit on the pricey side, hence the four stars. Cheers! Frederic in Montréal.
