It was only $20 so I was concerned about the quality. I was not disappointed in this. It's twice the size of our old one and It works flawlessly! Our old one constantly buffered but this one is doesn't have any problems! It has an app for easy set up and troubleshooting if necessary. It puts out a strong signal too. We have multiple devices connected to it see I highly recommend this product! Review: Easy management when using as an extender or a Wi-Fi adapter - I used this extender to replace an IoT devices Wi-Fi internet adapter. While I could not find just an adapter (wired to Wi-Fi) that would do what I needed so I decided to look at Wi-Fi extenders that had at least one wired port. This unit allows both older and newer devices to connect and the onboard management interface is fairly straight forward to work with. One issue I had seen with extenders was that they would rebroadcast your network settings and possibly not be as secure as your primary Wi-Fi router setup. While these units are not as robust, you can mimic most of the security settings of your primary system and then hide the SSID by not broadcasting it. This has worked perfect for my wired device connection and allows me to extend the Wi-Fi signal even though that was not my original intention. They do say it works with most routers, and I can verify it works well with the Netgear Nighthawk line. ## Features - AC1200 Dual-Band: 867 Mbps (5 GHz) for 4K streaming and gaming plus 300 Mbps (2.4 GHz) for smart home devices; beamforming eliminates dead zones in bedrooms, basements, and backyards without replacing your router - 3-in-1 Modes: Range Extender boosts existing Wi-Fi wirelessly; Access Point creates a hotspot from Ethernet; Client mode bridges wired devices like smart TVs and game consoles to your wireless network - One-Touch WPS: Press WPS on your router then on RE1200 for auto-configuration in seconds; built-in signal strength LED guides you to the optimal placement for maximum coverage and stable connection - Cudy Mesh Satellite: Seamless whole-home roaming with Cudy Mesh routers via multi-band backhaul; universally compatible with any brand router or ISP gateway out of the box for hassle-free network expansion - Compact Wall-Plug: 80x60x38mm plugs directly into any outlet without cables or desk space; discreet white housing blends into any room without blocking adjacent sockets; WPA3 security for protected network ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B09J8D4N53 | | Best Sellers Rank | #112 in Repeaters | | Brand | Cudy | | Built-In Media | Installation Guide, RE1200 | | Color | White | | Compatible Devices | Camera, Laptops, Smart Television, Smartphone | | Connector Type | RJ45 | | Customer Reviews | 4.1 out of 5 stars 1,485 Reviews | | Data Transfer Rate | 867 megabits_per_second | | Frequency | 5 GHz | | Frequency Band Class | Dual-Band | | Frequency Bands Supported | 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz | | Global Trade Identification Number | 06971690790165 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 1.91"D x 3.15"W x 5.1"H | | Item Highlight | 867+300 Mbps Dual-band wifi 5 Signal Booster, 1x Fast Ethernet Port, 30 devices, Extender AP Mesh Mode, One-touch WPS | | Item Weight | 299 g | | Manufacturer | Shenzhen Cudy Technology Co., Ltd. | | Mfr Part Number | RE1200 | | Model Number | RE1200 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Range | 1500 square_feet | | Special Feature | Access Point Mode, LED Indicator, WiFi Mesh | | Special Features | Access Point Mode, LED Indicator, WiFi Mesh | | Warranty Description | 2-Year Warranty | | Wireless Communication Standard | 802.11ac, 802.11n | | Wireless Compability | 802.11ac, 802.11n | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Cudy - **Data Transfer Rate:** 867 megabits_per_second - **Frequency Band Class:** Dual-Band - **Special Feature:** Access Point Mode, LED Indicator, WiFi Mesh - **Wireless Communication Standard:** 802.11ac, 802.11n ## Images ![Cudy AC1200 Wi-Fi Repeater Range Extender, 1-Port, 3 in 1 Mode, RE1200 - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/413mCccnwnL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent quality and inexpensive! *by J***R on June 26, 2026* This was a replacement for our other (much more expensive) repeater that suddenly went out. While I could not find just an adapter (wired to Wi-Fi) that would do what I needed so I decided to look at Wi-Fi extenders that had at least one wired port. This unit allows both older and newer devices to connect and the onboard management interface is fairly straight forward to work with. It works well in place of my router, but the 5G range doesn't seem to be too good. From 2 rooms away, I can barely get a signal. I understand that 2.4 GHz Wifi can travel farther than 5G, but the super limited range still doesn't seem right. That said, it still works well with 2.4, and I get good speeds. The browser control panel also has an easy to use, clean looking design. ## Frequently Bought Together - Cudy AC1200 WiFi Extender, 1.2Gbps Home Signal Booster, Dual Band 5GHz/2.4GHz, Covers up to 1500 Sq.ft and 30 Devices, AP Mode, Mesh Supported, RE1200 - Cudy AC1200 Dual Band Unlocked 4G LTE Modem Router with SIM Card Slot, 1200Mbps Mesh WiFi, 5dBi High Gain Antennas, DDNS, VPN, Cloudflare, LT500 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/451455118-cudy-ac1200-wi-fi-repeater-range-extender-1-port-3](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/451455118-cudy-ac1200-wi-fi-repeater-range-extender-1-port-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-07*
