Creative Haven Christmas Mandalas Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books)

I really enjoyed Creative Haven, Christmas Mandalas. I like the paper and when you use markers, they do not bleed through.

Like my coloring book. I bought a bunch of them at the same time and really like them all. If you like to color, this is a great book.

If you're looking to find your moment of holiday zen, this is your book! The designs are soothing and festive all at the same time. Marty's work never disappoints! The paper in this book is lovely and the images are single sided, although if you plan to work on it with markers or wetter mediums I would advise doing so with care and taking care to put a blotter behind the page while working on it. Two thumbs up on this one! A real joy to work in over the holiday season.

This is a Single-side Mandala coloring book that has crisp detailed mandalas that are very attractive when not colored and are beautiful when color is added. The pages are also perforated for easy removal.This book is a hit with mandala fans of all ages. As many of us gave and received this book last year. One thing I will note is that many of the Mandala designs in this book are also featured in Dovers Christmas Mandalas coloring book that is double-sided and does not have perforated pages. I would highly recommend this book to others.

Paper quality was just a step above copy paper. Designs were nice, but a bit smaller & more detailed than expected.Pages are perforated for careful tear out.Overall - meh

I've totally enjoyed coloring in this book! Creative Haven is a line of mostly excellent coloring books for adults and this is another of their quality products. I enjoy the Christmas theme and the drawings are well done. My only quibble is with the word "mandala" in the title. Yes, the drawings are round, but not mandalas in the perfect sense of that word. The book is thoroughly enjoyable and the scenes are delightful. The price is right and shipping was free since I combined it with other purchases. Very happy with this amazon experience.

I love the whole adult coloring trend that has taken over, yet hate spending $15 plus on a coloring book. When I saw this and the incredibly low price, I figured I could not pass it up. I expected pages with the texture of children's coloring books...but I was wrong! This book is a nice size with crisp white pages, dark black outlines, and beautiful images to color. The pages do not bleed through with markets or gel pens. A great find!

Love, love, love this book! Was so excited to find it on web and was not disappointed when I received it! It was especially nice that they included in the book a few completed samples of pages in the book. This is especially helpful to me as a beginner to coloring. Highly recommend as pages are challenging but not overwhelming and definitely puts you in the Christmas Spirit.

As I am someone who loves colouring mandalas and other pictures I decided to order this book. I decided to risk it as there were no reviews on it. This book is lovely some of the designs are more complicated than others and the book is more for an adult (young at heart  ) due to the patterns. The designs vary with different mandalas and some scene pictures. I did one of the pictures in the book just for fun. I like using gel pens especially glitter, extra glittery, and metallic’s although I also use artist crayons and metallic coloured crayons and felt tips of the artistic range. I found using a silver glitter pen (although you can use silver metallic pen the effect is not quite the same) works better for Santa’s beard or the snowman.All the pictures are one side only so no getting leakage on the next page. A mall tip I put three white sheets of paper on top of the next design. The top plain paper I use as a pen/colour tester, also if I am going to be putting a little bit more pressure (such as berries and mistletoe) I found taking the cardboard envelope the book came adds extra support by placing it between the two plain sheets of paper. For the money this is really good value and it was a little thicker than I thought for the money. Some of the Mendalas are quite detailed and will take more than an hour or two to do; this also means that the gel pens I use especially the glitter ones give the mendalas time to dry.Another tip I will give is when colouring with glitter pens you sometimes get smudges usually on your writing side on the palm of the hand or just below the thumb so when you go to colour in the next part (especially the mandalas) you can smudge the picture. For this situation I found that if I take an A4 plain piece of paper and fold it in two I use this to rest my writing/colouring hand on top of it as I colour the pictures this helps to prevent smudges.I like this book so much that I am ordering another few from Amazon to share with friends. A small tip / hint this book or other colouring therapy books of mandlas would make good Christmas presents or a gift to the grandchildren before Christmas these should keep them occupied. I have friends that are also into colouring therapy we meet for a coffee (why not invite your friends round for a coffee and chat while colouring in that way you get to see new ideas on colour schemes and at the same time have a natter. With this Christmas book (perhaps near Christmas) might put you and your friends in the Christmas spirit and festive If I were you I would order one soon and keep it away for safe keeping until nearer the time for Christmas rather than take a chance on getting it.Hope this review helps you in your decision.

This has some lovely mandalas to colour. The paper is good quality.

I bought this book after Christmas so will not be coloring any of the pics in it until next Christmas. The pictures do look nice though.
