Biteback Products Superfly Great for Keeping Midges Off Pigs
This was a useful product in the muggy weather with our elderly pig she was bothered by midges and flies. Thought this might work or not but to try and see well it appeared to be a good item. No flies seemed to be hovering near her water which was usually the case. Easy to use spray bottle and it didn’t seem to irritate her. Even managed to get some on myself and it’s didn’t make me itch or anything but kept flies away.Well priced and lasts for ages.

Fly Repellent
I do like this - a decent size bottle and a relatively easy spray (keep it upright), but sadly it did not prevent the world's most hideous horsefly from taking a chunk out of my leg this summer. I needed steroids and antibiotics for 2 weeks - ugh.So whilst I am sure it is a good preventative measure, it won't protect against he most evil determined horsefly enjoying your leg (even through leggings).

Relatively successful against the tiny but mighty midge.
Scotland....mid June....midge mating season....the females are out for blood.....I don't react to their bites, but it's incredibly annoying having them flying around you like a swarm!!Doing some stuff in the garden, well into the evenings, that's when they come to life as they don't like the sun. I didn't want to down tools, but they're insanely irritating, so you need to!! That went on for a couple of days, ordered this spray, slapped it on the night it arrived (it recommends testing on a patch of skin before coating yourself, but I'm a bit of a daredevil!!😄😄), It's not the best smelling thing you'll ever coat yourself with, but being eaten by midges is more annoying, especially if you react to their bites.Night falls, they swarm near me (carbon dioxide in your breath attracts them), but the areas I've sprayed, there's no bites....a few bites on areas that I didn't coat with the spray, but none on my arms, face, neck. They will still annoy you, they'll still be 'everywhere', but without the bites.I guess if you react to the bites, it's maybe a 5 star product, if you don't, it's a 3 star, as you're still dealing with the swarm.

Effective with a wide range of applications.
I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme.I've been using this on myself (I don't own a horse..) whilst gardening and haven't been bitten by anything so I guess it works! Not the best smelling thing in town, but that's not really an issue when you're working, and I had no reaction to it on my skin.Interesting that it's effective against ticks, they're a problem on the Moors where I live and, though I always cover up well, it's always good to have a back-up defence as well. The bottle is a good size at 500ml and one application will last a minimum of 8 hours so it's economical to use.At the time of review it's listed as "currently unavailable" and no price is indicated, but assuming a market-relevant price I'd say this was a effective product with a wide range of applications and give it 5 stars.

Bye bye midge!
Fantastic spray for horses, with the weather increasing in temperatures all the critters are out for blood. Midges seeming a real problem this year in our area, they’re out in force! This spray has been a lifesaver for our horses, it seems to have stopped the midges biting and thus no more itching! Yay! A tad expensive but a little seems to go a long way and on the whole more than worthwhile for your horses comfort.

My goodness
Who would have thought that something "for horses" also works for humans? Sprays and pastes are weird like that.I actually ordered it thinking it was for people but, as it turns out, it's marketed for horses. I hate mozzies just as much as the next horse, though, so we've been trying it anyway. Oddly, today suddenly turned into the hottest day of the year so far - it inexplicably jumped up to 32 degrees. Sweltering. Do. not. want. And with the heat comes the mozzies so we dutifully gave ourselves a liberal spritz and, lo and behold, not a single nibble on any of us. Super! So, next time you read that something "for horses" isn't for people, too, you can rest assured that that's very much not true.Safe for horses and for people; will successfully keep nasty bugs away from both.
