I have been looking for a great shampoo and conditioner that meets my environmental and anti cruelty standards. Let me start by saying I'm a daily washer, conditioner, leave in, blow dry, and flat iron girl!!! I know it's ridiculous. Lol Anyway, this shampoo really gets rid of the crap in your hair from other products. You can actually feel it being squeaky clean and I love the botanical frangrance. I feel like you will feel you need to use a lot because there is not a lot of lather. I have cut back on the amount but just have massage longer for better lather that I can spread out. The conditioner is beyond great! After washing I get some pretty big tangles in my hair and one swipe of the conditioner and they fall right out. You only need a little bit of conditioner. It's not too heavy but can be at your roots if you use too much. The leave in conditioner makes my hair feel awesome! I clearly like the sleek look and I'm trying to stop the heat wave/damage I do daily. I have cut back on washing my hair every day to every 3 days and it still looks great!!!! Usually after one day it's stringy and greasy. I have thick hair. I rinse my hair and still heat style it on off washing days. They should add a dry shampoo to the package for that 3rd day! In my package I also received 2 or 3 different cards that show style examples to wear your hair more naturally. I am trying one of them now! Hope it creates better waves than my frizzy natural hair. I have damaged it a lot and I have great waves under my top layer. Hope my hair gets better asap! After one wash my hair was already silkier and smoother and required less time with my straightener to bring it to heel. I don't know what kind of hair crack is in this stuff, but it works. The price is a bit out of control but I won't hesitate to invest again because it's done something for my hair that nothing else has been able to.I have only one grip. It smells awful. At this quality (and price!) I'd expect a salon-quality fragrance. If those perfumes don't meet the company's natural standards (which is awesome) then there are plenty of natural essential oils that smell fabulous. These products smell my grandma's old medicine cabinet. It's a testimony to their effectiveness that I plan to use them anyway for the rest of eternity. So at one stage I said, more as a joke, that maybe I should try and wash my beard with it. Well, maybe I shouldn't have said that as the next time I was over at her place she literally made me do that in her bathroom sink! To my surprise though it actually felt really good. the shampoo seemed to strip my beard completely of all the grime that usually accumulates there, and then the conditioner made it all soft and smooth. I usually just use whatever I have on hand in the shower on my beard and it never comes out that nice. As I don't spend a lot on beard oils etc like some other guys my friend said that I should get my own set and use it more often. So I had a look on Amazon and wanted to buy the shampoo and conditioner, but then saw that this set was on sale for the same price as the shampoo and conditioner alone but also includes the leave in on top, so I bought this and gave the leave in to my friend. The package also contained some cards with air dry styling tips that I have no use for and a nice branded bag, so I gave all of that to my friend as well.
