These are exactly the same as the Annas pepparkakor that I can buy in Sweden. Definitely not fake.

Q: What made price go from $14.17 to almost $23 in 5 days? Price gouging?

Supply and demand. Keep checking the price. Buy when it goes down..it will.

Q: How far out is the freshness date? I love these cookies but am hoping they are good for at least 12 months

My latest shipment that I just got a few weeks ago is stamped "best before 2024 February – 26. I have found it usually they are 6 to 8 months out as far as the "Best Buy" date is stamped.

Q: Last order placed was $9. then you canceled. now it's triple price. why?

I have no idea. Did you check the amount that you would be receiving?
