Big photo storage for the home
I bought the 16TB unit with front USB hub to store photographs and some miscellaneous files. My unit is connected to a dual-boot (Windows 10 & Ubuntu) laptop workstation through a USB hub. After I connected the USB cable, I plugged in the drive's power cord and Seagate One Touch Hub fired right up. I moved 50,000 files, totaling about 500GB to the drive to confirm that everything was working, and then fired up Lightroom and had it 'add' a year's worth of pictures to it's catalog. Everything worked fine. I then booted up Ubuntu to confirm that Ubuntu could see and access the disk, and it did so without any issues. While I did not benchmark the unit, it's speed seemed typical of other hard drives. That is, while much slower than a SSD, is plenty fast enough for photo storage. The unit has only a very small disk activity LED on the front of the unit. There are no other lights on the unit. When you first add the unit to a Windows system, the drive will appear in the 'Desktop' view of the File Manager. Normally File Manager defaults to showing you the 'Quick Access' - Frequent Folders and Recent Files view. The unit isn't silent - no hard disk drive is - and it does make sounds when it's spinning the disk platters up to speed after 'sleeping' and when the disk is moving the disk heads to read or write a file. The rest of the time the unit is essentially silent. It's safe to say that this disk is nosier than any disk I've had before (it's also a LOT bigger than any disk I've had before), but the sounds this unit makes are no louder than everyday background office noises. Personally, I don't find them objectionable.I am pleased with the 16TB Seagate One Touch Hub I purchased. The unit is performing like I expected it to, and I expect it will serve me well for a number of years.

Extremely Disappointed
So I bought this external hard drive as a backup to my files for my Youtube Channel. The first one I got i only get to use it once. After that, the computer wouldnt recognize it so I contacted Seagate. Yes the customer service was good they even send me a drive with my backup files and the process was not hard. I was still under warranty because it was just about 4 months since i had it. They sent me a replacement and I was busy so I didnt get to use it so I left it under my computer table, This once I believe they told me I had one year warranty which should expire february 2025 if im correct. When it was time for me to back up my files, the hard drive was completely DEAD, NO POWER. First thing I did was check my warranty and it said it was expired in MAY 23, 2024. I am so upset because this is not cheap and I really didnt use it nor does it seem reliable as a backup. Be careful buying this product as a back up because it seem it doesnt last long. I am completely honest. I only chose seagate because it is a trusted brand but I cannot buy another product after such disappointment. I havent even had it for a year

These are garbage if you use a program to see what the specs really are
Ok first off, most of these are EXYOS or IRONWOLF drives with no warranty, just the warranty for the plastic case. second off, if you use something like usbtree or hdsentinel you'll see seagate is purposely limiting the SATA speed to SATA II, so even though these advertise sata 3.2 10GB you wont get better than 3GB (like it makes a difference, it's just techno babble and tech lies). Dont buy these, do yourself a favor, buy the enterprise drive thats like 10 less for no chassis and buy a REAL usb 3.2 2x2 usb chassis so you get a 5 year drive warranty (if you go seagate, WD you can complain and get a 5 year warranty for anything). but these are garbage with how they SAY they are 10Gpbs usb 3.2 but are only connecting at SATA II speeds (they do connect at sata III on a real enclosure). Dont let the prettiness or worthless hub fool you, because you are paying extra for JUNK cases that cripple the drive

So far fine and with minor details
I bought a 20 TB but got 18.1 TB instead, little irritating but oh well.A few things about this device is that it sometimes makes noises and vibrations.Another thing is that it lags for a few seconds when starting up then it works properly.I have had this for a few months and so far no big errors has happened; I will update this review if a sudden error happens and/or the device no longer works

Great easy edition to My Mac Studio
As you know Apple uses APFS for its file system, with the latest versions on macOS all compatibility with Window NTFS is gone without the help of some really wayward utilities. This 14TB Hub is formatted in exFat. This is a file system that works both with Apple and Windows. It lacks some of the indexing features of APFS and NTFS but for external storage it works just fine. plugged it into one of the USB "C"/Thunderbolt ports on the Mac Studio installed Seagate's software for macOS and I was up and running. You do notice at times that this is an external drive and it isn't the speed demon it might be with APFS and a Thunderbolt interface but it moves everything off of the Mac Studio's 1TB internal that does not need to be there. Any one with a Mac computer this is a no brainer.

Seagate 6TB One Touch Hub
The media could not be loaded. Seagate 6TB One Touch Hub External Hard Drive is a good product to have especially when you want to have a portable device to carry and connect to your computer, laptop and other devices. Now I have many of Seagate hard drives it’s a brand I trust and has lasted longer than most other hard drives. It’s automatically detectable by windows. Great storage space for multiple photos or files. The usb wire is a good length and plug adapter has multiple types for use in other voltage or country. I am happy with this product.

Outstanding product
Outstanding product, so far uploaded more than 2TB, as compared to 1TB micro sd which crashes once you load more than 70%, this one is highly stable, smooth at performance and doing great
