Immediately drawn to this sweet wee lamp, & chose Grey to contrast with my keyboard, gray & black. Fitted in nicely, & casts a good light, all be it very focused upon my immediate desk space. **Q: The product description states that it's a max 35w e14 bulb. why is it then matched with a 40w bulb? is this dangerous?**
A: I have a 28watt which is quite bright enough. Do,not worry about it.

**Q: Can you use a smart bulb in this lamp, one that dimms?**
A: Of course you will be able to if the smartbulb itself dimms. The lamp itself just has an on/off switch.

**Q: what bulb do I need?**
A: candle bulb screw fitting. the wattage is up to you.

**Q: I have had it on five minutes it is becoming very very hot already unsafe ?**
A: Of course it is going to get quite hot when switched on, as a matter of light
bulbs generating heat. Mine does get notably hot quite quickly, but it stays
at the one level of heat.  In truth, I've come to live with it at that intensity.

Good desk lamp and very flexible. Works well, but the cable is quite short. Also smaller than I expected and the bulb isn’t included.
