I have always taken prenatal vitamins, as directed by my doctor, for mild iron deficiency, but even brands I’ve found that don’t cause nausea still end up making me constipated. This is the first brand I’ve found that doesn’t taste nasty, doesn’t make me nauseous, AND doesn’t cause constipation at all!! I can even take this vitamin without food, which is amazing. Plus it has folate instead of folic acid, and includes some good probiotics. I did a lot of research on what should be in a good prenatal when I started trying to conceive, and found this brand has plenty of the good stuff. It really is the whole package when it comes to a prenatal vitamin, and the price isn’t bad, either. It’s in an average-sized capsule that you take twice daily, so not too big. It also has a very mildly sweet taste, which I like. Your mileage may vary, but I think it tastes good and don’t mind it at all. My previous brand was Rainbow Lite and I took the once-per-day one. It had a nasty taste, and was the only brand I’d found that did not make me nauseous if taken with food, but it did still make me nauseous if I didn’t take it with food. It also made me constipated even though it’s marketed as non-binding.
