NOT FOR RING VIDEO DOORBELL GEN2
I bought this as a spare battery for the Ring battery powered HD video doorbell (Generation 2) in the mistaken belief that you could remove the battery from the Ring unit whilst it was charging and replace it with a fully charged spare. Unfortunately, you can't as the battery in the unit is fixed. Returned as unfit for purpose.

Good 2nd battery to ensure ring doorbell always has power
Works well, I'm not sure if it lasts quite as long as the Ring branded one that came with my doorbell, however, not an issue as I can easily swap them over as and when required. I have to change about once a month as have a lot of people/care going past house setting off motion sensor.Much better than using the trickle feed power supply which I had planned to purchase for similar money as I can put on charge when electricity is cheaper

Passt perfekt 👍🏼 unser original Ringakku war nach nur kurzer Zeit defekt und wir wollten nicht das ganze Gerät zurück schicken da es vermutlich eh auf dem Müll landet. Daher diesen gekauft, ein Gerät gerettet und super zufrieden.

Keeping two and having One continuously charged up
These ring, batteries stay charged for a long time, but they do get old when they get old. You need a new one better to have two than one. Thankful that they’re easy to find on Amazon and you get them overnight sometimes.
