I had extremely low expectations. I was looking for something super cheap to put inside my run to house 7-8 week old chicks until they are large enough to mingle with the adult hens. I was expecting crappy quality and since it is in a run I did not need it to be predator or even water proof. But I am still underwhelmed. First it’s paper thin wood, splinters, cracks and staples sticking out everywhere. Way too many pieces and nothing is designed to line up, least of all the roof. The screws are too short and none of the screws or pieces are labeled.I was planning to not add the nesting box but instead will use the pieces to seal the door. I really bought it to last a few months inside a chicken run and did want to build it from scratch. Still not worth it. I have it half assembled and I’m not sure yet I want to continue or just take it apart again and return it.Definitely would not attempt to use it in the open, without a secure roof over it or run around it. This is the worst piece of junk I have ever seen.

Very very cheap. The screws are to short. Look at photo at the longest screws they send. I bought longer screws and used a lot of wood glue. The wood is very thin but to gather with staples. The floor doesn’t fit, no matter which way I turn it there is a space that a small chicken would fall through. The color is a bright orange look at photo that’s no wood color I have ever seen. The top is a material I have not seen before not water Proof . My opinion without a lot of wood glue the wind would cause it to fall apart.

Very cheap material. Box was damaged during shipping and was broke. Didn't look like it was gonna be very sturdy. Got my money back
